Stella Palace Aqua Park Resort

Booked here for a family of 14 however due to personal circumstances had to cancel 7 of the party. Last minute two of us decided to book for a 5 day stay, right at the very end of the season. Well we were not disappointed. The hotel is immaculately clean. Rooms are cleaned daily and the food on offer in the Buffett restaurant is excellent with different choices every day. The many pools are exceptional and the water flumes were one of the best we’ve ever been to. Reception staff, Costas, was excellent and nothing we asked was too much trouble. We chose to eat in different restaurants which you pre-book the day before. Mexican and the steakhouse were both fantastic. If you’re looking for a family friendly resort which is of a superior quality then look no further than Stella Palace resort. Loved it so much we will definitely be looking to book for next year but this time bringing those family members who could not join us this time around. Also to mention, many guests re-gift their inflatables therefore there is no need to purchase any they are always available somewhere on the resort. Entertainment laid on nightly which was really good especially the children’s entertainment. Well worth a visit!

Stayed here in sept with family all inclusive, we had a swim up room which was very nice. Staff were very friendly in all areas. Good water park and swimming pools, also found it good that other guests when leaving for home left there inflatables out for the guests to take and use. Nice beach over the road which was safe for children to go in the sea etc.. For us the only thing that was a disappointment was the beer and spirits, there was only one choice for beer which my husband described as flat and tasteless , just all low quality cheap alcohol, which as it’s a five start hotel seemed very disappointing. This is our third time of visiting Stella Palace (unprecedented for us to visit any hotel a third time until now), and I have to say the hotel and facilities continue to improve beyond their own very high standards every year. This time around we returned to get married, with the help and support of Evmorfia and the wedding planning team at the hotel. As a result, there were also 16 other family members across different age groups and preferences on what they expect from a holiday, and remarkably Stella Palace managed to impress every single age group, including my parents and older relatives who would not usually visit an all inclusive resort. THE HOTEL/HOLIDAY The hotel rooms are second to none. I can’t speak for every room in the hotel, but of the ones we and my relatives stayed in, every room was very modern in design with beautiful tiles and decor in theoughout the bedrooms and bathrooms (none of that dated brown wood look to be seen anywhere). Comfy beds, excellent room service and housekeeping. The pool areas have something for everyone. Splash parks, a small slide zone for young kids (with the tipping bucket etc), a slightly bigger version for kids who can swim, and then medium to very fast slides for older kids and adults. There’s pool bars, burgers, ice cream all through the day. Beyond that there’s two huge pools with bars, and even a hidden private pool and bar that my parents and auntie liked to hide in for some peace and tranquility. There is a broad choice of cocktails, which were well received. The food choice is fantastic and changes every day. All in our party loved the food, and my parents said that the ala carte restaurants were some of the best they’d ever had (a massive compliment coming from them - particularly the Asian restaurant). The kids enjoyed the kids club so much that they were upset when we collected them! It really is a remarkable hotel and I feel it warrants its 5 star (which is not usually the case with many European all inclusives). The only slight downside is that the price has gone up quite considerably since our previous 2 visits, and I imagine with the popularity and how good the hotel and its amenities are, that this will likely only go one way in the future. THE WEDDING Evmorfia helped us arrange the wedding over several calls across a year leading up to the wedding. She was fantastic throughout, creative with our needs (and our budget), and the wedding went perfectly. We chose to have the wedding on the beach and the reception in the hotel Veranda overlooking the hotel complex/pools and the beach/sea in the distance. Evmorfia ran round all day making sure everything went to the timeline (despite us being causing delays at various points!). I watched another wedding a few days later and you can see (when it’s not your own wedding), how hard she works in the background.
