The hotel is situated closed to the old farmer’s market. Helsinki city centre is just in a walking distance.
Room isn’t big but cozy enough to recharge my energy for business trip. Bed is super comfy. Breakfast is a western style breakfast with some local elements.
There is a small unisex sauna in the fitness room with towel provided. Good to experience Finland sauna after a long day.

We had a great stay at the Hotel U14. It is very centrally located to downtown areas of Helsinki and to one of the harbors. We were able to walk to many of the locations we wanted to visit and others were relatively short Uber/taxi rides away. The staff were friendly and helpful. All were happy to take time to talk with us about our plans or our experiences. Here, a particular shout out to Adnan who could not have been better in his role. We ate breakfast several mornings in the hotel restaurant and were pleased with the range of items in the buffet and the ambiance. I would definitely return to the Hotel U14 if I were in the area again.

U14 Hotel is a gem in Helsinki. The location couldn’t be better — central, with the post office nearby and easy access to everything the city offers. Our interior room was spotless, well designed, and incredibly quiet, providing one of the most peaceful nights of sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The on-site restaurant was very accommodating, and the bartenders truly know their craft. I had one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever tasted — made with Knob Creek — which honestly ranks just behind the one I had at the James Beam distillery itself. Between the great location, quiet comfort, and outstanding hospitality, I would absolutely stay here again

We absolutely loved our stay at U14! Jusa gave us a warm and thoughtful welcome, even leaving chocolates and a sweet note for our little one, which made her day. The room was stylish, comfortable, and spotless. A big highlight was the tasting dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Version, the best meal of our 2.5-week trip across the Nordics! They accommodated our daughter’s tree-nut allergy and treated her like an adult guest, which was such a refreshing change (no depressing chicken nuggets). Between Jusa’s hospitality and the unforgettable dining experience, U14 gave us the perfect start to our vacation in Helsinki. Highly recommend!

We stayed here because of our friends' wedding. Great central location close to sea and several different main sights. Stylish lobby and spacious room with a comfy bed & pillows, working A/C and large bathroom. Front desk was professional and friendly, bar had large selection of drinks and breakfast(=works as their restaurant during daytime/evening) had so many different delicious options, that you can skip lunch after that. Because they don't have their own garage, only negative thing was parking. They offer -20% discount from nearby garage, but still after that 43h parking was almost 60€ and you have to carry and drag your luggages couple of minutes in rain.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2025 . The location is super , could not have been better . It’s walking distance to all places of interest and the ferry . The staff was very helpful at the front desk .the decor and amenities are all Marriott standards . Loved the buffet breakfast specially the coffee . Would recommend the hotel to just anyone travelling to Helsinki
