The room is big, clean, conveniently located, and the service is good. The cleaning lady is young and a little cold. Everything else is good.

The room is large, the decoration design is high-end and stylish, the hotel is in a good location, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the shopping mall, and the food in the restaurant is great. This is the best hotel I have stayed in in Helsinki during this trip.

Great quiet location and beautiful rooms especially the Finlandia Suite which even had an additional half bathroom and a walk in closet. Wonderful and friendly staff all around - from the front desk, the spa/sauna, and the restaurant. Delicious breakfast buffet. Definitely stop by the St George Bakery as well - best pastries in town.

This hotel doesn’t feel like a five star hotel. The decor is kind of tacky (sorry!) -mannequins with ball gowns are found throughout the public areas. It is impressive that they have an ai Wei Wei sculpture in the lobby but the overall impression of the entire hotel feels cheap. The rooms are ok - adequately comfortable but again don’t feel elevated in terms of design. We had one of the nicer rooms - on the sixth floor facing the park with a terrace. I’m quite surprised that this is the hotel that Monocle recommends. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is excellent.

This is a really nice hotel, conveniently located, with very good facilities and staff. I would happily stay there again. The only problem I experienced was with some television reception. A special thank you to staff members Petra, Levi, Enni and Irene for all their assistance.

Great place. Received a nice beautiful upgrade. Absolutely no complaints. In a great location central to everything. Beautiful bathrooms. Staff was very attentive and helpful. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Highly recommend staying here!

Overall would recommend! Pros: central location within walking distance of train station, nice pool area, high quality hair dryer in bathroom, very cool light up toilet, big room with classic yet modern European decor Cons: housekeeping was understaffed so room didn’t get cleaned one day, had to request clean towels multiple times
