Historic hotel that Winston Churchill went for respite.
Spa hotel. Nice pool and wet and dry saunas.
Great for retreat and rest.

What a fantastic hotel! Staff were incredible and the facilities were great. Spa was perfect especially later in the evening as it was almost just the two of us with it all to ourself!
We ordered room service from Frederick's bar and it was delicious and super speedy.
The top tier moment was finding out they were dog friendly and being able to bring our four legged friend along!
Will definitely be staying here when we return.

The cost of the accomodation didn’t quite match the level of service we would expect. The location is grand and the facilities are really good, as is the breakfast.
However, the pool is limited to strange times for families such as during breakfast and dinner, when the middle of the day is would be more suitable.
Also someone chased after us when leaving the spa to return the towels, which two children were using, rather than allowing us to leave them in our room for housekeeping to collect.
The house keeping took two turns to send shampoo to our room, after a polite call, they sent shower gel instead.
In summary, great food and facilities, but it’s bit awkward with children to be there and the service in the spa and housekeeping is lacking.

We recently got married here and I can't say enough good things about this beautiful venue. The setting was absolutely stunning and was exactly what I had envisioned when planning our wedding. A special shoutout to Lucy Bennett, the wedding coordinator, who truly went above and beyond. On what turned out to be a difficult day due to unexpected family news, Lucy worked quickly and calmly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism and compassion made a world of difference. She is a real asset to the hotel. The food was also delightful—each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about the buffet! Overall, I highly recommend The Majestic for any event.

Very good experience and I really enjoyed. The massage person is mahmood . He is very professional and my body is very relaxed and I really enjoyed my time. The spa services were great, enjoyed spa bath, sauna and steam room. Wasn’t busy either so experience was great

The hotel truly embodies its majestic name, showcasing stunning beauty and a rich history filled with significant events. Despite the passage of time, it stands resilient and continues to thrive. Our room, number 111, was spacious and had a lovely fragrance. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were delightfully soft, allowing us to enjoy a restful night's sleep. The modern bathroom featured an excellent shower, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Crabtree & Evelyn products for soap, body lotion, and shampoo—a lovely touch. However, we did encounter a clogged shower and a leaking sink, which was a bit disappointing. The spa area was clean and inviting; I made the most of my complimentary hour there. A special shout-out to the friendly and professional receptionists at both the front desk and the spa. Breakfast was decent, though it lacked a standout element. I noticed an unused pancake machine next to the waffle station, which seemed a bit out of place and could be better removed if not in use. Nevertheless, the staff remained attentive and professional throughout our stay. Overall, considering the price, the hotel offers good value for money.

Spa and treatments were amazing! Spent a good amount of time using their facilities and then when to get our treatments done. Was very professional and knew what they were doing. I had the facial and mini feet treatment and would definitely recommend☺️
