HanTing Hotel (Harbin Railway Station South Square Hushi Building) Reviews

The hotel occupies the 24th-29th floor. Just a 5min walk diagonally opposite the Harbin railway station. We stayed in Room 2502 on the 25th floor with a good view from 24-27April 2025. The room is well furnished, clean, looks new, 4 pillows supplied. Coffee/tea/4 bottles of water daily. Daily housekeeping and the staff, including housekeeping, reception and dining are all cheerful, helpful and polite. The housekeeper will leave a note and a little treat like ginger tea and packet apple juice. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was awesome and very good, with a wide choice. Taste good too. We had our favourite freshly brewed coffee from the coffee machine and yoghurt was available too. We travel across China regularly and stayed in many hotels. This hotel is one of the best in terms of value, service, breakfast choices, cleanliness and location. I would rate this as the best Hanting hotel, together with the Hanting hotel near Slender lake in Yangzhou that I have stayed in. Hanting hotels have now become my preferred brand.

Right smack at the center of facilities travellers would yearn for... railway station, metro station, bus stops, eateries, airport bus transport terminal...（The museum and shopping centres are just one bus stop away. For those who like walking, the distances are easily manageable.）

Great location to take train, airport coach and underground. Nice breakfast. Room cleanness is ok. Great front desk staff.

Near to the harbin railway station just 100m from hotel. Near to the airport transfer just pay ¥20 for 1 way. I’m really recommended this hotel.. amazing 👏🏻

This hotel next to airport bus station no.1 also closed to Harbin railway station and subway, surrounded by lot of restaurant and convenience store. Room is specious with everything you need. Breakfast is yummy (but most of them is Chinese breakfast). I have travel to snow town and back to stay again, staff offer to left a luggage overnight with free of charge!

One night stay in hanting was convenient and clean enough for our early morning train schedule. Location is great

Room is a bit small but pretty clean. The bathroom is a bit weird because the door is see-through 🥲 location is good for railway/mrt but a bit tricky for taxi drivers to pick up and drop off. You should book in advance as hotel in harbin is often fully booked

The location was great, 5mins walk from the Ha’erbin railway station. But you have to come out from the South side. If you came out from the wrong side, it’s a lot of trouble to go to the other side. The hotel is clean, new with all the necessary amenities. Even auto lockers are provided. Very convenient. They even provide ginger and Longan tea, as well as porridge at the lobby which are much needed in such cold environment. The WiFi was slow although the signal was strong. Not stable enough for international digital normads. Our phone signal over there was weak too. This hotel adjusts its own room rates from time to time, so it’s good to take note of the price adjustments and re-book for better prices.

I think it is the best location in downtown Harbin. When get off from airport bus the hotel is right in front of the bus drop off station. Hotel also in front of Harbin railway station south entrance/exit. The restaurant on the right sight just next to the hotel entrance is very tasty and not expensive. The only complain I have is the bed is too soft and small room, not suitable if you travel with big luggage.

Close to Harbin railway station, easy to get around. The staffs are very helpful

The positives: Really close to Harbin Railway station and the line 2 subway making it easy to get around to the main attractions and to come via high speed rail from other cities. The room was clean and spacious. The downsides: The hotel lobby though is located on the 24th floor and there’s only one lift up which is slow. The lift to the rooms is a separate lift and again is slow. On our last night, they had forgotten to give us towels and a bath floor mat and took them over 40 minutes to give us new ones. They gave us hot milk as an apology though.
