Rooms are on the smaller side. But air conditioning and hot water are great. Sheets are clean. Breakfast is decent but basic for RMB 25 per pax. Location is good with many eateries and shop nearby. However, the nearest train station is a bit of a walk away.

I came here for an exam. I have never stayed in a hotel with such poor soundproofing in my life. I chose room 210 for lightning protection. My first bad review will be dedicated to this Hanting Hotel. When I opened the curtains, I saw two pairs of other people's socks. When I turned off the lights, I could hear everything from the neighbors eating, drinking, defecating, and talking. I could hear the faucet as soon as I turned it on. The water in the upstairs and next door kept gurgling after washing their hands. It was one in the middle of the night. I wanted to have a good sleep, but the neighbors kept talking. The hotel gave me earplugs. I was quiet for a while, but they started arguing again. I went to knock on the door next door and asked them to keep quiet. But they didn't dare to open the door. Of course, I also think I was unlucky to meet someone who didn't sleep and kept making noise in the middle of the night. I'm not writing this for compensation, but I just hope that the soundproofing of this hotel can be better.

There are many restaurants near the hotel. It takes a few minutes to walk to the back gate of Harbin Institute of Technology and 10 minutes to Harbin Institute of Technology subway station. The front desk staff is nice and I like it. The toilet flushes automatically, the laundry and drying are very convenient, and the air conditioning is very cool. Next time I go to Harbin, I will stay at Hanting
