A short stay at this hotel and, unfortunately, was a bit disappointed. There was no lift to the room floor, which made carrying my luggage a challenge. Additionally, my room wasn’t ready by the check-in time, which added to the inconvenience. While the room had air conditioning, it still felt a bit warm, and overall, the room didn’t seem well-maintained. I was hoping for a more comfortable experience, but these issues made my stay less enjoyable than anticipated. I hope the hotel addresses these concerns for future guests.

The facilities are old, the receptionist can't speak Chinese, and only a little English, so we can only communicate with translation software. When I rested at night, I found a toothpick under the bed sheet. I told the front desk, but the waiter just said I would take it out for you. I wonder if they treat European and American tourists the same way? Finally, at my insistence, the bed sheet was replaced. The shower floor drain does not leak water at all. The hotel still needs to improve in terms of service.

I had booked another hotel but was told it was fully booked, so I stayed at this hotel after Trip.com customer service introduced it to me. Trip.com's response was very smooth, and even though I booked this hotel at the last minute, it was well prepared and comfortable. There is a delicious Bun Cha restaurant nearby.

The hotel is very well located in the Old Quarter. It takes 5-10 minutes to get to the Lake of the Returned Sword. It is even closer to Beer Street and Night Market. The price matches the quality. If I am in Hanoi again, I will stay at the Lotus again.

I am a backpacker who travels alone. I do not recommend this hotel for family travel. However, it is suitable for a place to just sleep alone. The price-to-performance ratio is pretty good. The lake is a 5-minute walk away, so it is okay. I recommend this to poor backpackers.

Right in the old town, 50 yuan taxi from the airport, good internet, refrigerator, Michelin powder at the door, various specialty coffees, mainly cheap, suitable for transit, Vietnamese rice noodles are delicious, coffee is also good
