I made a reservation that included a late check-out until 2pm, but the hotel wasn't notified.
When I checked in, I showed my reservation confirmation to the front desk to ask if late check-out was possible.
However, on the day of my late check-out, I received a call from the front desk at 12pm urging me to check out.
Everything else was great.
The room was thoroughly cleaned and the amenities included a toothbrush.
The breakfast in particular was great. There was a wide variety of food, so I looked forward to breakfast time. It was fantastic, with not only Western food but also an abundance of fruit, Tianjin and kimchi, sushi rolls, and even pho.
The bar next to the front desk was also great.
I think this is the best hotel to spend some relaxing time at.

Melia Hanoi is the only truly decent place I’ve stayed at during my trip to such a chaotic city! The hotel is in a great location, on the edge of the old city, avoiding the congestion and noise of the old city and being very convenient. The hardware and service are also excellent. Although the swimming pool is not big, the water is cool and comfortable. The suite I booked is very spacious and the view is also good! In short, highly recommended!

How come you can make the first floor so magnificent, but the rooms are so terrible? Carpet is dirty and old how come you can still tolerate it? I can’t, to be honest.
