I stayed for 4 nights. The location is near the St Joseph Cathedral and the lake. Breakfast is reasonable local and simple western food. Overall is value for money.

I had such a nice stay here. It is clean, a good location and the rooms a spacious. But what I loved the most about the stay was definitely the staff. Incredibly helpful, always greeting you with a warm smile. When it started raining heavily and I needed to go out they helped my wrap my shoes in plastic and offered me a poncho. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay. The staff are very service oriented and can feel that they care for the customers satisfaction. They took time to share on how we can maximise our stay such as recommending where to eat and where to go. The rooms were as per photo, and clean too. Beds were comfortable too as my kids slept well. Overall enjoyed our stay here and will come again!

I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Hanoi La Castela Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. My room was spacious and clean as my expected. The bed was particularly comfortable, which made for restful nights. The hotel served a breakfast buffet with Western and Vietnamese dishes. The service throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, which helped me feel more comfortable. Particularly the staff in reception named Jennifer she can communicate well in English and give smiles everytime I enter and out in the lobby. Overall, the Hanoi La Castela Hotel delivers good value for its star rating. It’s a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers.

A real “you get what you pay for hotel” but honestly was great. Not quiet, but if youre going to be out late anyway and you need a good central location this is a good one. Staff are super nice and switched on.

A nice wee hotel in the old quarters of hanoi, walking distance to a few of the colonial touris attractions, you can hired a motorbike of roam around in the congested roads of city center.

The TV was not working. Like there were literally no channels available for watching which is a first experience for me. Although the staff did offer to call a repairman, I just couldn't be bothered already. There were 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water on the side table that the staff did replenish during cleaning the following day. But I wasn't told that I will be charged extra if I took the chilled mineral water that was in the mini bar. So I was quite caught by surprise when the concierge told me that I have to pay for THAT bottle of mineral water. The walls of my room didn't look very pleasing as well as there were signs of fungi due to humidity. The only plus point of this hotel is the location, as it was located in smack in the middle of old quarter so it's easy to access many prime spots.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and close to the Hoan Kiem lake. Excellent services and staff. Room is clean and tidy. Should be on top of the hotel list in Hoan Kiem area. Highly recommend to all tourists!

Perfect place, very friendly staff and good breakfasts. It is very closw to all interesting places.
