Era Apartment Giang Vo

Female single solo traveller. I was meeting friends near this place so I booked this place. This apartment is part of apartment rental chains called Era. Location wise it's not suitable for seeing Hanoi. The most of tours will pick you up from Old Quarters so you need to ride taxi or bus to it. And shopping and interesting things are all in Old Quarters. It doesn't have 24 hour front desk. There is one guy sitting on table inside but he usually leave place to eat I don't know. Twice I confronted with locked door. The apartment gate is opened only by chip for security reasons. You follow this shady alley and you find white gate beside sign called Love hotel😂😂😂. At first I thought I booked in love hotel. The first time I contacted by email to leave my luggage before check-in. There weren't anyone. Second time, my chip wouldn't work so I had to wait 30 minutes. Luckily some couple also in apartment came by otherwise I would be sleeping in street. Contact wise, all Vietnam tours seems use WhatsApp but for some reason apartment didn't give me any contact information. I had to ask their WhatsApp number from fellow renter. As for room, it was meh. Cleanness was kinda bad. The first time I came around 5pm, and second night I came I noticed there is water all over toilet and one of shampoo was opened as if someone took shower. For that reason I didn't sleep really well. In the end, don't book if you are solo traveller. Maybe if you are many people want to find cheap place, you can choose this🤔. I wouldn't recommend Era Apartments to anyone.

no problem with cleanliness, nice little balcony, too good for the price. there's also a projector to watch movie. the only thing that was not the same was that there was no washing machine as shown in the photo. a tip is to get Zalo first and contact the homestay via Zalo. they also allow you to check in around 30 min-1 hr early. some good sticky rice and supermarket nearby.

The place may be hard to locate since there is no sign that tells you "ITS HERE". However, the area is safe and convenient; located close to a Circle K, food market, and little restaurants. The room was pleasant, comfortable, clean, and all amenities were working perfectly.
