The assigned room has an inner window, maybe because it is a low-priced room, but it was not stated when booking. The hotel is quite decent and there were signs of renovation work when we checked in. It was a very bad experience to start decorating around 7am the next morning.

My husband and I suffer from claustrophobia so we wanted to book a room with a window. An agent called Minh Thu, Golden Sea Travel booked for us a deluxe room with balcony at Ancient Paradise in Hà Nội and we paid premium price in advance. When we arrived, the hotel told us that the room we booked wasn’t available 🥲. We were extremely tired, but patiently waited for their arrangement. They transferred us to another of their hotels called AMARA HANOI HOTEL, which we were told was better and had a room for us with a window. We were desperate so we grateful to find a room without a balcony, but a window. Hey ho, the window isn’t a proper window; no light could get in ( see the photos underneath for reference). Furthermore, building work going on above our room was terribly noisy and disturbing. We couldn’t sleep well. We got no compensation for the inconveniences, but charged more! It was hell for us. Their hotel chain has left bitter taste in our mouth. However, the location was good and some of the staff were kind and helpful.

I loved this hotel as it offered great customer service, perfect location, nice room, very clean and good facilities. The staff, including Luna and Max were excellent, always available, and so helpful with all enquiries. We had a great few days in Hanoi and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Hanoi.

Average level because I understand that in the center of Hanoi there is not much better but I recommend spending a little more for a better service. Cleaning not satisfactory as well as breakfast and rooms. Perfect location to visit Hanoi.
