Atrium on Ulster

The room itself was fine but we had no car and had to walk to the downtown area. Not so far but passsed many motels and a number of questionable characters. I was OK with it but the person I was with was super-anxious about safety so we stayed only one of the three nights we had reserved. I asked for a refund only for the third night, but was rejected with the representative of the owner, when I appealed, insisting it was perfectly safe. In fact, the person at the reception desk said he believed it was safe, but ... I checked the historical context of these motels in a row. During covid they were empty and suffering so they made an arrangement to have them occupied by homeless people, with the cost paid by the state. A few of the motels, including Atrium, did not do that, but Atrium is near the end of that row of several who did, At one point it was around 500 residents. Now, according to the internet it is down to 150 or so. I have nothing against the homeless. Usually they mind there own business but I think when a tenant asked for a refund after staying only one of three nights becasue of concesrns about the area, it shoud be provided for at least the third of them. Truth to tell, I think if you have a car and don't hang around in that area, it should be OK,but I could not write a positive reveiw based on my experience, as much as I would like to.

Property was absolutely beautiful. We had the best experience from customer service to a very clean & comfortable room. Very much enjoyed our stay. I’d strongly recommend this place for family and friends to stay. They only serve the best!

Visited for one night. Comfortable. Quiet. A little road noise but didn’t disturb us. Kitchen was nice and clean. Bathroom was generally clean. Well supplied with consumables. Handy to Pak n Save. Would need a cat to get to main part of town which is a 5 minute drive. Parking was available Checking was easy.
