This hotel in Putatan area is the best choice! We start our road trip journey from Brunei at 5pm and arrive at the hotel at 11pm. Smooth and quick check in. Friendly & eficient staff. I highly recommend Pan Borneo Hotel because of its clean and comfortable room.

I booked for my relatives from China and they comment highly recommended. It is a walking distance to local foodies and the attractions in Kota Kinabalu. It’s really convenient and they loved it a lot.

The room is very large. The pool club these facilities are very fully equipped It's just the air conditioning's hygiene that's kind of bad.🤢 onlyIt's just a bit old-fashioned, but overall it's still good

I didn’t expect the place was so near to the kk Times Square and next to imago. Just across and use the bridge. Thus location was very convenient. The rooms are spacious and clean and to enter the floor need card which is safe for woman. The staffs are very friendly and helpful as well and was able to assist and even help in our grab service informing them to come right infront of the hotel. I really love the ambience. And there is also restaurant and convenience store at the same building.

Clean room. Complete amenities & iron inside room. No smoking or mould smell inside room. Pillow & mattress was fluffy & comfy. Got corner room with L shaped window overlooking the mountain. So nice. Very aesthetic design hotel. Breakfast was delicious! Love that they served fresh squid for sambal nasi lemak. Roti canai and the curry was marvellous.  Will definitely come back here again.

Perfect accommodation experience! This stay at Aeropod SOVO's homestay really exceeded my expectations! The room is very clean and tidy, with modern and stylish decoration, and very comfortable to live in. The bed is soft and I slept very well. The lighting in the room is also very good, and it is bright without turning on the lights during the day. The facilities of the homestay are also very complete. And the landlord is very warm and friendly, and the check-in and check-out process is very smooth. The location is also very convenient, there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, it is very convenient to go to the airport or the city, and the transportation is very convenient. Overall, this is a very satisfactory accommodation experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Kota Kinabalu! Highly recommended to everyone!

Checked in at the hotel at around 9.30pm. I noticed the air conditiong was kinda hot. But i thought to myself, I’ll give it some time run first. Maybe it’ll get better soon. Then an hour later, it was still hot, so i called operator, and she said she will send someone to our room. Waited about 30 minutes or more, still nobody came. I called the second time, and she said she’ll get someone to our room again. And that’s it, nobody came to our room, to help us with the air conditioning. And we were to tired to wait already. So My 8 month old baby sleept sweating that night and i had to fan him with the note book that they put beside the bed. Upon checkout, I complained to the receptionist and the manager about the incident, and they checked on their system that the issue had been resolved. Which was abvioustly a lie. So the manager said he will investigate the matter and he promised something to me. So i hope he keep his words. I’m a regular here, so i know there was something wrong with the air conditioning. I know the quality of the hotel. So let’s see wether the manager is serious about his words.

Spacious room, but the whole building needs some maintenance and repair. We had problem with sockets in the room, and batteries of door lock, TV and air-cond remote controls need to be changed. We found one small cockcroach in the kitchen, other than that, overall stay was OK. One good point, water pressure is very strong.

There are not many resorts in the mainland. It’s a good compromise for balance a bit of everything. Going to downtown, visit remote places, and his land hopping. The sunset is nice for the hotel. A key point is that you can use this hotel facility + the sport center facilities + the Magellan hotel facilities. Downside. U can’t order food with Grab, as you will need to walk about 10-12 minutes to go take it down the road to the guard spot (third photo). What it could be improved: 1. The SPA price is out of range. 2. Family Night time activities. The only activity/bar is on the top floor which doesn’t allow kid below 18 YO.
