I extended my stay twice! I don’t understand why this great hotel has not had more reviews from foreign tourists. Location, cleanliness, service and professionalism is absolutely outstanding. I am now staying in another hotel in Shanghai and I miss the following list of things that I took for granted when I was in the Guangdong Hotel: English speaking staff, English TV channel, fruit platter, coffee sachets, large clean room, large bathroom, the meticulously cleaned room, the ambiance of the foyer area and above all the helpful ladies at the concierge desk! I am from Australia and this is my first trip to China. The Guangdong Hotel staff was a great introduction for me to China. They helped me download a navigation app and they taught me how to use the Chinese metro system. Thank you to the concierge ladies especially Kitty!

It is our first time staying in this hotel. So far we are impressed by the friendly and professional services provided by the hotel staff at the front desk and the house keeping team. We are very happy that we chose to stay here for our trip. It also has a good location for our needs.

1.Conveniently located on DONGFENG ROAD 2. Window view of Zhongshan memorial Hall and Yuexiu Hill 3.Newly renovated 30 meter rooms with firm beds and modern air conditioning 4.Breakfast Western and Chinese well worth extra charge. 5.Spacious well run hotel with well trained staff.

Upon arrival at the hotel after the check in time of 2:00pm, we were told that the rooms were not yet cleaned but we were given keys to the rooms. We would expect to get into cleaned rooms without any hassle for a hotel of this standing. It was quite horrifying to go into a room that is not cleaned. One of the rooms had a heavy cigarette smell and that needs to be changed. We have reserved 3 rooms but each room is a a different floor and our key card cannot access to other floors due to security reasons. The room is ok but there is a stain on the chair and some cigarette smell. The bed is also quite firm which may not suit everyone. The hotel should consider enforcing a check out time that would enable them to turn around the rooms in a timely manner.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Yuexiu Park are nearby. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the Museum of the Nanyue King. The service of the lady at the front desk of the hotel is very good. She also helped us upgrade the view room for free. You can see the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall from the window of the room. The view is quite good. The room is also spacious and clean. I will stay here again next time I come to Guangzhou

A family of three felt satisfied, clean, quiet, and the service was enthusiastic. There is a large amount of hot water, and there is no problem of low water pressure even on the 9th floor, which may be because it is close to the important government areas. There are black tea and coffee. Smart lighting is also good, with various scenarios to choose from. The TV can watch all CCTV channels and is easy to operate. Outside the window is the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.

It was a very good experience staying at Guangdong Mansion Hotel. Miss Chen at the front desk was warm and considerate. The floor service staff was also warm and friendly. The hotel facilities and hygiene were super good. Welcome fruit was sent in the evening, which reflected the high quality of the hotel. I deeply felt the hotel's leadership management ability and comprehensive quality. It received five-star praise. This is the second time I have stayed here for two consecutive nights in the past two years. I will stay here again when I come to Guangzhou.
