Received a good welcome from the staff. The facilities are good when you stay at main building. The breakfast was better than nothing. The one impression was the view while having the breakfast.

It's about a 20-minute bus ride from the station.
The staff were friendly and very nice.
The toilets and bathrooms are shared, and there are no hair dryers.
I would recommend this place as it's cheap for a tourist spot in Switzerland.

The hotel is located halfway up Grindelwald. There is a bus from the train station to the hotel. They provide free breakfast, but dinner is charged and not tasty. The room is beautiful and the view is great.

Traveling alone, but my roommates are mostly Chinese. They are very friendly and enthusiastic. The front desk is also very nice. Breakfast is included. It is white food like bread and ham. The main thing is that the hostel is in a good location. The snow-capped mountains are beautiful outside the window.

We took a bus to our accommodation. If you want to feel the freshness of the mountains at sunrise, this is the best place to stay. We got a city card from the hotel, so the bus fare was free. This youth hostel is far from the station, so you must use the bus.

Grindelwald in the spring actually smells like cow dung. Of course, this is not the hotel’s problem. If you live in Mürren, which is at a higher altitude, there might be less smell! But this is also a special memory of the journey!
Compared to hostels in other places, Grindelwald is not more conveniently located, the road on the mountain is not smooth, and the bus service is closed earlier, but it has a special intimacy. They will considerately let you walk less stairs, have a little more space, and the breakfast and dinner service arrangements are very ready. In fact, this is considerate.
Some locals come here from time to time every year. I think this place is pretty good.
