the hostel provided all the amenities to make our stay comfortable - from a self-catering kitchen to laundry machines. The location was also near to the Grasmere village.

The temporary hotel for overnight stay is just off the main road. The parking lot is large and convenient for parking! There are also many travel brochures available for guests to read at the front desk. It is recommended to stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grasmere Youth Hostel I camped in my tent in the garden at Grasmere Youth Hostel and it was brilliant. The price was very reasonable, and it’s such a good option if you want the freedom of camping but still have all the facilities of the hostel close by. After a big adventure in the hills, it was the perfect place to arrive – friendly, welcoming, and relaxed. The staff made me feel right at home. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and set me up well for another day of walking. The location is fantastic too, right in the heart of the Lakes and with Grasmere village just a short stroll away. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly, comfortable and welcoming base, this hostel is spot on.

Had an amazing time staying at YHA Grasmere in February. Not only is this one of the best locations to base yourself to explore the lakes in general, but the staff are amazing and always on hand to help and support. Food was excellent throughout the week. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. An absolutely excellent week, thank you to the staff at YHA Grasmere.

Fantastic hostel for families, especially those on a budget wishing to explore the lakes. Yha grasmere is located a few mins walk from the bus stop - connecting you across the lakes. Plenty of local shops and walks. Camping is on the lawn of the hostel. 5 pitches to choose from. Will be back!

I spent 4 nights camping and, despite the weather, my stay was memorable. Tthe facilities and staff were excellent. I loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the place, and, of course, the location was superb.

Great stay at YHA Grasmere. Check in was great, easy and friendly. The hostel is a good size, large sitting room and restaurant area and space to sit outside. The self service kitchen was very small but clean and adequate. Stayed for two nights in a two bed room. There were plenty of clean toilets and showers just outside our room. We ordered food, pizzas were large and yummy and priced well at £10.49. Served hot with friendly service. The hostel is only about 3 mins walk to the centre of the village of Grasmere. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops, including a co-op express open until 10pm. I would highly recommend this YHA.
