I’ve been staying at this hotel since it opened last fall. Early visits were a bit rough, but I assumed that was just part of the new-hotel learning curve. The property is affordable and conveniently located, so despite inconsistent service, I’ve continued staying here. I’m a Hilton Diamond member with 100+ nights this year, many at various Home2Suites. During my most recent stay, my husband joined me, and we were surprised to find the hotel charges $5/hour just to be plugged into the EV charger, in addition to the normal charging fee. It’s also a slow charger, so a full charge cost me $70 just to plug in. When I asked about the pricing, it took a lot of back and forth before staff finally admitted that hotel management set the rate, rather than the charging company as they initially claimed, and even then, they weren’t helpful in resolving the issue. Since that stay in October, I’ve continued monitoring EV charging options at other Hilton properties, and the trend is clear, most are complimentary for guests, or charge only a minimal fee. At this location, however, management seems intent on passing off responsibility rather than improving the guest experience. After additional discussion, the staff eventually agreed to provide Hilton Honors points as a courtesy for the inconvenience, but no surprise, they were never actually issued. This seems consistent with the overall approach here: ignore problems or make promises that quietly go unfulfilled. Check-in rarely starts on time, staff training is minimal, and I’ve even had to help front desk employees troubleshoot basic system issues during past stays. This property could be great with the right leadership and training, but right now it’s one of the weakest Hilton experiences I’ve had. I am hopeful the property management will reconsider its EV charging policies, but until they do, I will not be back. Additionally, before leaving my review, I read others posted here, and the negative reviews are very consistent with my personal experience. There are plenty of other Hilton Properties in the GR area - spend your money elsewhere.

Worst experience by FAR. If you’re going to subject your guests to 78 degree temp at night because the thermostat won’t actually set to a temp, you should tell them that! Medical conditions with heat intolerance exist! Might as well have stayed anywhere else, want my money back.

No 3pm check in as advertised. Nothing else on website otherwise. While i was complaining about no digital key so i wouldn't have to carry another item the desk clerk told me to calm down which i can only say was designed to incite. No reason for it up to that point. Only thing i had asked was "how did they get so bad". Then she told me they would have to give me a hard key and i said that wasn't good enough and i wanted a digital key and she told me it could take 5 minutes of so for it to work. At that point i was very mad a told her to hurry up and get it done. I had waited long enough to get into the room. At this point it was after 7pm and since i could not check in at 3pm missed when i could unload my stuff and relax for half an hour so before going back to work. This hotel is not convenient and you should plan on asking for your money back. This hotel says the rooms are not guaranteed until 6pm after everything on website says 3pm. No digital key that worked last stay. Went to management and was told if i didn't like it i could leave so i left. Have stayed 60 times or so this year and only got worse. Garbage disposals are not being cleaned. Water does not drain as expected until running the disposal meaning it wasn't cleaned. Towels on back of toilets are not being changed out. Think about that. My wife actually complained on one of the trips about the floor smelling like cigarette smoke and the towels over the toilets not being changed between guest. If you have been doing this then do a better job. But if you haven't been doing these things. "GOOD LUCK GETTING THAT DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER" Hilton should be sending in secret shoppers to check this place out.

Amazing hotel. Our room had a kitchen with all the amenities including a toaster, plates, silverware and a full size refrigerator. The king size bed was so comfortable. The room was very clean with plenty of towels. Our kids loved the pool and towels were provided. The gym has a peloton and free weights. There are walking distance restaurants which was convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My kids love the waffles from the breakfast bar. There was plenty of coffee, juices and teas provided with flavored creamers.

The snack area was quite bare, not much stocked for purchase. The bed was uncomfortable and every step, phone, voice, etc.. can be heard from all directions. Very noisy

Hotel is located close to Cannonsburg ski area. So very convenient. Close to shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. Would stay here again
