There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.

I always stay at either 4 or 5 stars hotels. Selected this hotel amongst others as I think it would be the same standard as other Hilton hotels but I was totally wrong. I might get pleasant stay if i chose either quality Inn or Super8.

We stayed at this DoubleTree Hotel twice in June while traveling in Colorado and were very satisfied on each occasion. We were particularly pleased with their restaurant, Bistro 743, not only in the quality of the food but also in the caliber of the service, especially by Diane each time we stayed there.

The room, bar, and service was exceptional. The proximity to the airport made it even better. But the icing on the cake was that Nikki from the hotel bar sifted through 200 receipts from the day before to find my receipts so I could include them in my company’s expense report. This was my first trip traveling for my company, and of course, I forgot to keep the receipts for my first meal of the trip. Nikki went over and above to help me out on my unique request, and my company was non the wiser. She could have easily disregarded my request, as there was no guarantee that I would see her before I checked out. Lo and behold, she was there with my receipts as I was checking out. I really appreciate her going the extra mile for me.
