Ada Cave Suites

Location is perfect, heart of Göreme. Cave rooms are nicely decorated, dim lighting, ambience and overall design makes you feel like you are really in a cave. Jacuzzi in the room is good but the water takes some time to warm up. Because this is a real cave hotel (as the worker there explained), there are bits keep coming off from the ceiling in our washroom (not a big disturbance though, but we have to cover our cups when not in use) and we were told that it's normal for a real cave hotel. Breakfast-wise, food is fine, not much variations in different days but good enough to start a day.. Coffee is only for someone who just need caffeine. The terrace is nice, staff set up in every morning for the guest. Good thing is, it is not as crowded as other popular hotels. Overall, staff are very friendly except one guy (who appears to be a senior one), doesn't seem to be welcoming and hospitable. He always talk to us in a blunt tone when we have queries on the stay or the room condition. He definitely ruined our overall experience here! Sigh.

Pros They have a beautiful entry and that gives a very positive feel about the hotel. Good Location. Clean Rooms. Good Hospitality. Amazing Staff , they are very helpful. One can easily spot balloons from the hotel Terrace . Very close to the main market area and the restaurants. 2 mins walking. Cons The rooms that were near the reception were the best. The ones in which we stayed were good but the toilets were very small. But it’s a good hotel to stay. There can be little more breakfast options for vegetarians.

The staff, the room and the location are just awesome. However, breakfast experience is just terrible. The cook/lady chef at the kitchen for the breakfast is just so bad. She doesnt talk to anyone, nor does she smile. We stayed there 4 nights with two kids, the first morning she was all the time on her phone sitting on a chair and never paid any attention to anyone, even the food was not there but she didnt replace or refill. We didnt get any egg for us or our kids till we decided to ask. She wasnt happy as was obvious from her face expression. The second morning when we asked again she just gave us one egg for the sunny side and that was for four of us. The third day she just told us no more eggs available. Even though we paid for the breakfast we had to go outside and pay again for a better breakfast so we dont stay hungry or make our kids starve in the morning. The spread was also a joke. There were no cups to use to get coffee from the coffee machine either. I have even stayed in 2-star hotels and the breakfast was found to be much better than this 5-star hotel (as they claim). I recommend this place for a family trip to Goereme for the location, balloons view in the morning and all the other staff members, but just dont pay for the breakfast and dont even go to eat there in the morning. You have much better and even cheaper options in the town and you wont regret.
