Turan Cappadocia Cave

In short, it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! I booked this hotel because it was famous for its cave hotels, but it was the worst decision I've ever made. It was self-torture, paying a lot of money to experience a basement room. It was the hotel I started my Turkey trip at, and it was the worst from the start. Even bad places are better than caves, so that's my standard. LOL First, when I entered the room, it was incredibly dark and humid. I don't know if they sprayed something to control the humidity, but it reeked of naphthalene. The refrigerator wasn't cool at all, and even if there was air conditioning, there was no fan. It was dusty and flies were flying around... Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. The breakfast was just average, and the view I'd been hoping for was just so-so. The hotel was on a steep slope, and construction was underway in front, making it even worse. I couldn't sleep for a day, and the room was so dark and damp that I asked to change rooms. The staff clearly said they'd change rooms the next day, and we also told them it hadn't been cleaned yet. So I packed my bags and went back the next day to ask for a room change. The owner said it was the same room, right next door, and it wouldn't be the same even if I moved. So I told them to just endure it for one more night, and sent them off. But when we checked out, the owner asked for extra towels... We assumed they'd clean the room, since it was a hotel, but they said we had to put up a sign asking for it to be cleaned. They said there was a sign outside the room to indicate that it was cleaned, but I swear there wasn't one. And When I checked in, the owner didn't explain anything, and didn't clean or change the towels. They even brought towels from outside, but later, without telling me, they charged me extra for taking the towels without permission. LOL This is the first time I've seen such a crappy hotel. Especially when we were assigned room 102, they asked me to change rooms. It was the worst. How could they charge for a room like that? After sightseeing, I couldn't relax at all. In fact, it was humid and cooler outside. This was the worst!!!!!!!!

Good place. The bathroom is very small, but I imagine this is because the room is a cave and they added an additional bathroom. The breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent.

The hotel has an unbeatable location, and the breakfast is very good, but the bathroom was very small and when you showered, the entire bathroom filled with water.

Stayed for three nights advantage: - The price is good, compared to many cave hotels, the price is very reasonable. -Breakfast is good, the selection is acceptable, and you can see the beautiful scenery. - The staff has a good attitude and service, is willing to help, and is polite. - Only 7 minutes away from Goreme bus terminal, very convenient - The terrace has a sunny view and a rocking chair shortcoming: - WiFi is extremely poor. It is almost impossible to connect at the bedside. You have to go out of the room to connect to the network. - The toilet board cannot be opened normally. You must sit down to open the toilet board. - The iron frame that holds the lye in the bathroom is rusty, looks poor, and the cleanliness needs to be improved. - There is a storage room for cleaning supplies outside the room. Sometimes you can hear the staff talking loudly, which affects your nap.
