Beauport Hotel Gloucester

Called the morning of our trip to let us know about early check in, staff was outstanding explaining the questions we had for the valet. For a family wedding directions on where things were at, clean look forward to going back. Kudos to the Beaumont staff

I visited the week before Thanksgiving for a business trip. I was working in the co-working space across the parking lot (Wheelhouse - Harborside 10/10). This hotel was not only convenient, it was amazing. I often stay at luxury resorts (ie Four Seasons); this was on par with those experiences. Twice daily housekeeping with turn down service, great in-room amenities, clean, wonderful food and great hospitality staff. I shout out the restaurant, 1606. I ate several meals at the hotel. Room service was also quick and the restaurant menu.

Located right on Gloucester Harbor, this hotel is charming New England architecture and decor. Perfect rooms, and ours overlooked the harbor. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom with L’Occitane amenities. One drawback: tub hard to get in and out of and this visit there were no grab bars, but we were told they’re in the process of putting them in. Otherwise definitely a five- star hotel.

Amazing Stay My wife and I spent two days here after a couple days in Boston, and we prefer a much slower, less crowded environment. This place nailed it. - Staff goes above and beyond: Great service and they do the little things that make a difference. Greeting you at the door and holding it open, sharing insights about the area, etc. - Patio: Drinking coffee on the patio in the morning hearing nothing but the seagulls and waves. We spent most of our time on the patio, whether it was coffee, drinks or meals. Right on the ocean. When it got cool in the evening, the brought heaters around set them up right by each table. They also provide blankets. The view from the rooftop pool was fantastic, too! - Restaurant: Breakfast, appetizers, dinner and dessert - all great. My wife is very particular about food and she said she would be fine eating there every meal. Everything was well up to date and rooms were nice. We both slept great each night of our stay. We spent most of our time on the patio but there's a nice big bar inside with a living room style seating area with leather couches and a fire place. Additional touch: The hotel was power washing the building outside one day. It was really no inconvenience as we just walked about 20 feet out of the way. When we got back to our room, they left a note apologizing for the inconvenience and included a $50 credit toward breakfast or drinks. Quite unnecessary, but that's the culture of the way the place is run. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay in a seaport town, this is it.

As usual, my stay was wonderful. Staff was kind. Cassandra definitely helped me out by making my daughter and her friends stay very memorable. She made a beautiful card with wonderful words for my daughter to celebrate her last year in high school. The only problem I have is that I couldn’t stay longer due to lack of availability. I hope to visit again soon. I always sleep peacefully listening to the ocean and sleeping in their comfortable beds. I usually never sleep comfortably anywhere besides my own bed, but the Beauport is the only exception. Perfect getaway, just 20 minutes from my home. Highly recommend, but not too highly so not too many people visit so room availability allows me to get a room to stay longer.

Absolutely stunning hotel! We booked a small getaway here and we were not disappointed. Our king balcony room overlooking the water was wonderful! The hotel makes you as comfortable as possible with a handy car service that will take you to places within a 3-mile radius of the hotel, and a bed turndown service featuring lovely chocolate stars. We found the room to be quiet at night, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The rooftop pool was nice, but it can get crowded. We appreciated that it was 21 and older. We did enjoy the beach, where there is a LL Bean box that provides chairs and umbrellas for use at no cost; also, towels are provided. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, the staff was great at recommending local places, and none of them disappointed. We enjoyed the Causeway, Blue Collar Lobster after our whale watch, Lobsta Land, Mile Marker One Restaurant, and Minglewood Harborside. All were exceptional! We would definitely stay here again and come back to try their restaurant.
