Atlantis Oceanfront Inn Gloucester

Excellent location, very clean, very pleasant stay.

Atlantis Oceanfront Inn fully deserves its #1 ranking on TripAdvisor for Gloucester, MA. At its core, this is simply a very well-run establishment; one where the owners and managers clearly strike the right balance between smart business and genuine hospitality. Our room was spotless, well-equipped with every basic amenity, and offered one of the best hotel sleeps I’ve had in years. The hot water even held strong through back-to-back showers for our family of four, no small feat! The ocean view is sublime, the pool is clean and refreshing, and the location is ideal, just a 15-minute walk to beautiful Good Harbor Beach. What stood out most was the service. I made several requests during our stay, and each one was met with thoughtful, supportive responses. Even when something couldn’t be accommodated, the communication was prompt, honest, and fair, a sign of truly good management. There’s real value in authentic service, and Atlantis delivers it effortlessly. Thank you, Atlantis, for a gorgeous and memorable visit to this beautiful corner of the world. The boys were big fans of the inn and, of course, the cookies!

This place is amazing! You can't beat the view. The staff is friendly and very inviting. They have homemade cookies upon arrival when checking in. The rooms are super clean and the water pressure in the shower is good. You have a nice sitting area outside your room and a screen door with a lock so you can keep your door open if you like to hear the ocean. The cafe has really delicious food but it's only open from 7am to 11am. The only thing that might be uncomfortable is the bathroom is a little small. So if you're a big person, moving around in there would be tight. But other than that, you will not be disappointed booking this. Very close to all the whale watch excursions and restaurants, shopping, Harbor Beach, etc. We make this an annual trip. One other thing, book very early if you want to stay here on the second floor. That's the best view of the beautiful ocean waves crashing against the rocks. Reservations go very quickly. Enjoy!

When we travel to the coastline, my husband and I try to find a hotel where we can hear the waves breaking across the rocks from our room. The Atlantis did not disappoint. We stayed in a king oceanfront room. The view was great, everything including the outdoor balcony, was immaculate and the service/staff were excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast every day. I appreciated our waitress, and the hostesses at the restaurant who greeted us and everyone else so pleasantly each morning. I definitely would return.

We LOVE this hotel with great views, helpful staff and yummy breakfasts at their cafe. The sparkling pool is an added bonus and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon are my husbands favorite!

Such a beautiful sight from my balcony over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, delicious breakfast at the on-site restaurant, and enjoyed a lovely walk on the sidewalk along the coast. Very convenient to downtown. Heard the beach was close, but didn’t get to Good Harbor Beach. Pool looked nice, but weather was cool. Well worth a stay.
