I booked the hotel for my mom. She loved the hotel. It's close to everywhere. Everything is in walking distance. Check-in was fast. The room is clean, big, and nice. We will stay here again.

The location was just strategic, where it was stationed between the famous tourist spots. Stepping left and right ahead will reach famous food street, wall artvstreet, famous local morning market for food hunter.

A hotel with good ambience and vibe, clean, comfortable and smacked right in the center of the shopping hub. Very easy and convenient to get to your place of interest.

We stayed at JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La on June 28th for a short vacation, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for two adults and our infant. Perfect for a family stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout. A special highlight was when my wife surprised me with a cake arranged through the hotel, it was a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more memorable. The hotel handled it beautifully, adding a personal and warm touch to our visit. The location is excellent, especially for those who enjoy shopping. A mall is just steps away, and it's easy to get around Georgetown from the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service with a personal touch.

Hotel near 3 malls of walking distance. Family room has king bed and 1 sofa bed. Housekeeping is done daily. Has snooker table at lobby, 2rm per game. Complimentary cake for anniversary. Thank you!

The check-in process was smooth and the family room is big for a family of 4. It is near to many eateries and street food areas in Georgetown and Butterworth. Centrally located to all places of interest in Penang

Hotel is alright with good location, breakfast is good with nice spread.

Location was great, easy walking distance to a lot of places of interest. Front office and club lounge staff were friendly, informative. I love that they welcome you using whatsapp and you can text them for any assistance. Also top of the list was the 24 hour room service, as I checked in late and room service was available 👍🏻. They advocate green initiatives in the room and since I was staying by alone, i didn’t need daily housekeeping services.

Excellent location, many nice restaurants nearby. Helpful staff, we had problem with our TSA lock, the staff helped us to fix it.

The only thing to commend is that the dirt that came out from the bathroom glass door edge after shower makes me not comfortable. Overall is good.

My friend and l booked for a 4 nights stay at Jen Hotel. Upon entering the lobby, l can see that the lobby is spacious and beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. When we asked them for direction to a certain place, they are patient and helpful to direct us. The room is of reasonable size and we booked for twin share but l do not know why the two super single beds are placed side by side each other. The beds are big and comfortable, just that l felt the bed and pillow are a little too soft for me. It does not include breakfast, you will have to top up extra money if you want breakfast. We have dinner once at the Jen Cafe and the food is quite good and the service is great! There is a mall next to our hotel and there are amenities, a few nice eateries just within walking distance. There is a lane that has hawker foods if like them but have to there earlier like 4.30 to 5.30pm. As queues started to form in the late evening. The hotel is in the heart of George Town so it easily accessible to most of the places. Taxi/grab is convenient from the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Jen Hotel.

The reception was incredibly helpful; they use WhatsApp for communication, allowing for convenient messaging instead of phone calls. Their responses were very prompt. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom slippers were quite comfortable. I had a very pleasant experience.

Friendly & cheerful staff throughout the premise. Good variety for breakfast at Cafe Jen. Lounge & lobby were comfortable & cozy. Easy & quick walk to ICT Komtar to access to 1st Avenue Mall via overhead link. Rides came quickly during bookings. One small issue was fresh towels had black spots which could be washed away.
