Nice place and clean

Geelong is a must-visit town on the Great Ocean Road and the starting point for boat trips to Tasmania. The Best Western brand is similar to Atour in China, with above-average service and facilities. Parking is free and ample, the hotel is in a good location, and the rooms are much larger than expected, with balconies.

The room is not as good as Home Inn, the location is OK. The hotel facilities are too simple. There is no small supermarket around. The door was opened by the waiter in the morning when the child was still sleeping. I said sorry and went out again. I guess most guests don't sleep until 11 o'clock. I will not stay here again. The hot water in the bathroom is very good, compared with most hotels, it is hot. It needs to be adjusted carefully.

Booked it seven years ago and felt good then. This time I changed the room and the experience was average. It was Australia Day and there was a party next door until 2am. It was very close to the railway and driveway and there was a building that was very noisy. The advantage is that it is close to the beach, the room is large, standard motel mode, and the price/performance ratio is good.

The room facilities are too old. There is a smell of old furniture in the room. The hygiene is OK, but the hotel is too old.

Special mention goes to a female staff member (vivi) who prepared breakfast and coffee for the 7 of us after 9 o'clock even though we had not booked breakfast, which was very considerate. Another male blond staff member, after learning that we needed to book a taxi to Apollo Bay, made multiple calls to book a taxi for us. Picked us up at the hotel and was very helpful. I recommend everyone to choose this motel when visiting Geelong.
