Overall, the value for money is quite good, and the comprehensive experience was enjoyable. Hotel Facilities: Lobby: The Sheraton's floors are consistently impeccably clean, a standard upheld across all its locations nationwide. Room: I was very satisfied with the room, as all the facilities worked perfectly, which is a rare find. When staying in hotels while traveling, the bathroom is often where problems arise – either the water temperature isn't responsive, the lights break easily, or the hairdryer malfunctions. There's always something. Room Type: They mentioned an upgrade, but the usable area didn't seem to match the photos. However, the higher floor definitely offered better views. Overall, the room was very satisfying; the bedding, lighting design, and bathroom facilities were all excellent. Package Benefits: 1. Breakfast: Not a huge variety, but the quality was consistently good and reliable. The yellow noodles were a Northeastern specialty, wonderfully chewy. The limited supply of fruit is understandable; it was taken from a fridge and needed time to warm up, but was still quite cold. The oatmeal was quite good. 2. Ski Pass: The ski pass was indeed a great deal, but during our soft opening stay, there were also many training teams skiing. Since I'm older, my skill level is basic, and I'm just learning, it felt a bit pressured skiing alongside them. 3. Hanla Mountain Hot Springs: Since there weren't many people, I tried the Hanla Mountain Hot Springs, and it was decent. It wasn't as bad as the online reviews suggested, possibly due to the fewer crowds. If it snows, there could be accumulated snow by the pools. 4. Rafting: We were told rafting wasn't open, so we could only redeem the iron pot stew set meal. What can I say? The food was actually pretty good, no worse than outside restaurants; the average quality was high. 5. Water Park and Snow Park: These officially opened on the 20th, which was a bit disappointing. The package stated they were included, but they weren't available upon arrival. If this had been mentioned beforehand, it would be understandable, but finding out upon arrival was quite frustrating. Butler Service: Manager Xiao Hui was quite proactive, responding promptly and efficiently, and communication was smooth and pleasant. A good warrior doesn't boast of great achievements; less is more. The only minor drawback was that the detailed explanation of the benefits' usage dates could have been more comprehensive.

The resort was surprisingly good, with a wide range of activities. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for another night. The hotel itself is excellent in every aspect, offering great value for money. Our butler, Xiao Xing, was very responsive. The only drawback was the unstable hot water supply, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Its location is a bit further from the town's commercial street compared to the Hyatt. If you prefer a tranquil environment, choose the Sheraton; for a commercial location, the Hyatt is better.

The room is located within the Wanda scenic area, close to the main ski slope. The snow-view room offers great views, overlooking Wanda Town in the distance and the cable cars and ski slopes up close. The breakfast selection is quite rich. Especially, the service from Butler No. 2 at the concierge desk was very attentive, making us feel right at home. It was a pleasant trip!

Perhaps they overbooked, so we got a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Our butler, Concierge No. 2, was incredibly attentive. We were traveling with two kids, and he helped us with our luggage and even arranged for an extra children's breakfast. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the kids absolutely loved the water park.

Stayed for three nights and caught two sunrises from bed; absolutely loved the balcony view! The hotel offers many perks – we enjoyed the water park, cable car, and luge. The hot springs were too crowded, so we opted to soak in our room's bathtub instead. We also paid extra for a cycling tour and a ginseng digging hike with an old guide in town, both of which I highly recommend.

Heading to Changbai Mountain before the National Day peak, choosing the Wanda Sheraton Resort was absolutely the best decision. Not only did we avoid the crowds, but we also got a double surprise in terms of location and service – our experience was directly maximized! The hotel's location is a 'gem'; we could walk to the ski resort and all sorts of entertainment options. No extra time spent traveling means you can head out whenever you feel like it, which is incredibly convenient for tourists. But what truly made this trip exceed our expectations was the five-star-plus service from Concierge Butler No. 2. From actively taking our luggage and meticulously explaining the facilities upon arrival, to consistently 'anticipating our needs' throughout our stay: noticing we wanted more rest, they proactively arranged a late check-out before we even had to ask; fresh fruit and local snacks were replenished daily without fail. They even discreetly prepared double slots for an entertainment activity we had mentioned. Every single detail showed thoughtfulness, truly putting the guests' needs first. With a comfortable environment, convenient location, and the warm service provided by Butler No. 2, this trip was perfect. I'm already looking forward to winter, to return here and hit the slopes on skis, and to once again experience this wonderful feeling of being so well taken care of.

Our week-long vacation here was excellent in all aspects, particularly the service. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful from check-in, offering numerous reminders and valuable tips. The restaurant service was also excellent; we had two dinner buffets at the hotel, and the BBQ was particularly delicious! 👍 A special shout-out to Concierge Butler #2! They provided continuous reminders even before our departure, covering everything from airport pickup and check-in to various activity suggestions, weather updates, and information on facilities – truly attentive and thorough! They helped us arrange taxis and rafting excursions, among other things. What was most helpful was their assistance in arranging a super late check-out because of our late return flight. 🫰🏻 Overall, our experience at the Sheraton this holiday was fantastic! We'll definitely be back in winter! 👌

The hotel is quite old with dated facilities, and the cleanliness was just average. The bedding, in particular, was a major letdown and completely unfitting for a hotel of this caliber – it was worse than what you'd get at a budget motel. The duvet cover and insert were constantly separating, the insert was yellowed and dirty, and the cover, feeling distinctly like polyester, wasn't pure cotton. This created a very unpleasant sleeping experience. The buffet breakfast also left much to be desired. The only highlight was that after returning late from Tianchi Lake, they kindly extended our check-out time. If you're planning a trip to Changbaishan, I'd definitely recommend exploring other accommodation options.

I originally intended to explore West Slope, which led us to stay at Wanda. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans; it rained for three consecutive days, so we couldn't visit West Slope and had to shift our focus to North Slope instead. Luckily, staying here turned out to be a good decision, as there was plenty to do and eat, keeping us from getting bored. The hotel itself was decent, nothing exceptional, but the facilities were well-maintained. Concierge No. 4 offered outstanding service – proactive, enthusiastic, quick to answer questions and resolve issues, and incredibly reliable. They provided invaluable assistance during our stay.

The hotel staff were incredibly patient. They first upgraded us to a family room, but my older child wasn't keen on it, so they kindly upgraded us to a suite instead. Our stay was fantastic and very comfortable. The hotel is also noticeably larger than other properties in the area. Highly recommend for families of three or four.

The room was quite spacious. As a Trip.com Black Diamond member, I received an upgrade to an executive floor. Unfortunately, the executive lounge was surprisingly closed. Although the Westin's lounge was open, Sheraton guests were not permitted to use it. Butler No. 1 was very kind and even provided ginseng soap. The hotel is conveniently close to the commercial street, and there's a shortcut from the back exit. However, the hot springs are about a ten-minute walk away.

Overall, it's pretty good. This is an established five-star hotel. It's located within the Wanda Plaza hotel complex, but a bit off to the side. Access from the front entrance can be a bit of a walk, but it's much closer if you approach from the back. Fortunately, we had good weather, which made the experience quite pleasant. The breakfast wasn't quite as good as the Westin's, but its location is definitely superior.

For a hotel of this supposed caliber and price point, it's arguably the worst I've ever stayed at in my life. **Facilities:** Extremely old and outdated, completely lacking in quality or style. **Cleanliness:** Upon checking in, when I turned off the lights, I immediately noticed dust covering the floor. The bedsheets were visibly dirty on the day of arrival, stained with something unknown – it was utterly disgusting. I barely slept that night. The next day, the cleaning staff brought several replacements, but they were all similarly dirty. The comforter was incredibly heavy, making it very hard to sleep, and the pillows were excessively high. The service staff had an appalling attitude and were completely unhelpful, unable to answer even basic questions. **Environment:** While the external environment of Changbai Mountain is beautiful, the hotel's interior environment is extremely poor. **Service:** The service at the amusement park, hot springs, and water park was dreadful. Staff often acted as if they were picking a fight with guests. A few individuals were decent, but most were incredibly rude and unprofessional. The food was absolutely terrible. My husband and I usually have strong stomachs, but after eating their food for two days, I suffered from stomach pain, nausea, and discomfort for two days following the first day's breakfast. The next evening, after dinner, my husband experienced severe stomach pain and was violently ill. **Recommendations & Value:** Do NOT take any recommendations from the hotel concierge; their suggested activities are significantly overpriced compared to market rates. They even had the nerve to charge 120 RMB for transport for activities advertised with complimentary shuttle service. The entire hotel operation is chaotic and disorganized; everything, from dining to accommodation and entertainment, is simply awful. **Complimentary Activities:** What's even more frustrating are the 'complimentary' activities. The waiting times are completely unreasonable, especially during peak season – it's a sheer waste of time queuing. Ironically, the paid activities are much easier to access. These free offerings are not worth it; their quality is low, and it's definitely not worth traveling so far and waiting in long lines for them. So, do not recommend this hotel to anyone; everyone who goes regrets it. It's nowhere near a five-star hotel and is purely a money trap. **Concierge & Information:** Given the unpredictable weather, the concierge provided no service reminders about appropriate attire or any hotel activities. Whether you stumbled upon an event was purely by chance. For instance, there are beautiful fireworks on Wednesdays and Sundays, but we only found out by pure luck by asking a passing staff member (who wasn't even hotel personnel). The entire experience was chaotic and lacked any sense of proper management or service.

Our trip began with a two-night stay at the Hyatt before we transferred to the Sheraton. When we arrived to check in after a relaxing afternoon at the hot springs, the front desk was quite busy, so the process took a little longer. However, we unexpectedly stumbled upon a fantastic parent-child activity while waiting, which was a delightful surprise! My child and I participated throughout, and the experience was truly wonderful. A special shoutout to the young lady with the ********* accent – she was incredibly professional, full of energy, and engaged with all the children. Her enthusiasm was so infectious that it immediately dissolved all the negative emotions I had carried over from our less-than-pleasant stay at the previous hotel. Stepping into our room, we immediately felt even more at ease. It was clean, bright, and exuded a sense of comfort and tidiness everywhere. It was in that moment that I truly began to feel the relaxed atmosphere of a holiday. The next day, we headed to Tianchi Lake on Changbai Mountain. The West Slope was partially closed due to reported Siberian tiger activity, meaning only the lake itself was accessible, with the forest trails temporarily shut down. Despite this, the weather was incredibly clear, offering expansive views. We had a perfect, unobstructed view of the entire Heavenly Lake, and its beauty was absolutely breathtaking – truly a sight you couldn't tear your eyes away from. The most thoughtful service was that the hotel could arrange transportation for us no matter where we wanted to go. The prices were very reasonable, and it was incredibly convenient. As we were leaving, both my wife and child expressed how much they wished we could have stayed longer. Without a doubt, the next time we visit Changbai Mountain, we'll be choosing this hotel again! We heard that the high-speed train from Beijing to Changbai Mountain West is set to open at the end of September. It will only take four and a half hours, making it even more convenient than flying. We're really looking forward to our next visit! 😊
