It was a perfect stay at Kaneyama my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was just fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.

A beautiful hotel which full with sakura. Love the free flow wine and snack during nighttime.

Very nice hotel with great service. The garden is really nice to walk around with river flowing through it. Rooftop onsen in the evening as the sun sets is the highlight of the trip. The drum performance at night followed by bingo game was really captivating. Shoutout to Yumi who guided us to our room and explained all the hotel amenities and services. Food is extensive though taste wise in find not as tasty as what was offered in Tokyo. Tips: wake up early to take pic of Mt Fuji as I noticed by 11am the mountain was already hiding within the mist.

The place was perfect for a short getaway. Free flow of alcohol included in the package at the lounge. The dinner was mind blowing probably the best omakase I have eaten. Breakfast was not the usual western and was great. Free green tea at the garden in the most traditional way. Private onsen in the room was good for couple privacy.

Nice Fujisan view from the room. The room is very spacious, can easily fit in a family of 5. The staff service is the best of all. Can rent yukata for free, the wine lounge is perfect, wonderful matcha tea time experience with very relaxing river flow. Also, the taiko performance is free and can win prizes in the bingo game. Absolutely worth the price if you can fully enjoy all the time at the hotel.

Amazing place. Traditional hotel with amazing service and interior. I was glad by every moment there. Amazing open onsen, beautiful view on Fuji-san. Great meal and amazing breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Facilities are clean and well maintained. The hotel staff are warm and inviting. Most amazing thing is the hotel arranged an opening drum show after dinner for hotel guest during the Chinese new year period. And the show was done by all hotel staff 🤣I I’d like to visit again.

Very clean,big room with private onsen,delicious dinner,drum show was very cool and we like the lounge also. Really recommend!!

This place is beautiful and serene. A wonderful place to just relax and unwind. The staff are all so friendly and the facilities are pristine.

It was one of the best experiences of our trip. Great services. The room was nice and clean. Food was really beautiful. We were very impressed with Taiko drum performance, it was amazing. We were surprised to know that the performance was presented by hotel staff members. I highly recommend this hotel.

Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration. Hotel has tea ceremony on arrival (free of charge) at around 4pm, in a traditional tea house facing a beautiful river, the hotel also gave us a glass of a Japanese sake (also free of charge) that we can enjoy next to the river. Room is big, came with a private hot spring in the room, hot spring and living room is facing mt Fuji, very nice room. There’s a traditional drum shows after dinner everyday, also a small game after the show. We were very lucky that we both got a gift from the game. There was cockroaches in the room, one big cockroach and a few very tiny cockroaches in the bathroom area, others than that, it’s a beautiful place to stay. Still love this hotel v much.

Best garden in the hotels that I have even been globally but bit old and has a stuffy smell

the service is very excellent, good food and public bath. Enjoy Drumming show and BINGO game in the night time. all facilities are excellent and clean, very good for family to relax with natural view.
