While it was upsetting that upon arrival they could not give us a room due to plumbing issues, I appreciate that they had a solution for us by giving us a room at a comparable hotel and covering all the paperwork and expenses. They also helped us get our luggage there. Overall, I think this is a classy establishment based on what I saw in the lobby, and I appreciate the customer service.

Great location. But rooms are very cramped. Also the heat can’t be controlled to your personal level. So it is cold when you want the room warm etc.

I think the room is good, the hot water for the bath can be a little hotter. The service staff is very enthusiastic, and breakfast is in a high-end restaurant next door. There is a girl at the front desk who looks like Sophie Marceau 😍, which shocked me deeply.

7 minutes walking distance to the cathedral, 4 person rooms are very clean, toilet and bathroom were newly built. We stayed with breakfast included, breakfast varieties are not very wide but it was enough for us. It is a great advantage to be within walking distance to the center and places to visit. We were satisfied as a family. Full price performance hotel.

Excellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

I stayed with my brother's family, nephew, and daughter. It's near the central market. I had a very comfortable time

The booked room had problems and we were offered accommodation in another structure which disappointed me because it was certainly not of the same level so I do not recommend the structure due to the poor management of the problems that may arise!

We booked this place because it was close to the Duomo and it was pretty easy to walk to all the main attractions. The rooms were comfortable, they were very helpful in arranging transportation for us when needed. Their breakfast each morning is excellent - the best we had in Italy. Restaurants and gelato were nearby - and we had an American king-sized bed (which you can't always find in Italy).

Terrible hotel The room was very updated, light fitting were hanging out, the sockets were unsafe, the cornice was falling out. Furniture was old. The walllpaper was peeling off. The shower wasn’t hot (this was later on fixed) The pool was green!

Beautiful painted ceiling in our room! Good variety of breakfast buffet. Great location many good restaurants on the block as well as a small grocery/wine shop. The staff was so helpful and kind. We were able to store our bags until check in time without a proble. They ordered a cab for us for a 4:00 am pick up!!

Shameful and dishonest – they cancelled our fully paid reservation upon arrival We had a fully paid reservation at this hotel, and when we arrived with our children, they told us with shocking cynicism, “Sorry, there are no rooms for you.” No explanation, no warning, just a cold smile and three terrible options: 1. Be moved to a hotel with much lower ratings (7), 2. Another slightly better one with a rating of 8 but still below what we paid for, 3. Or, simply get a refund and be left to find a hotel last minute in a packed city — exhausted and with children. They clearly take advantage of the fact that tourists are tired, overwhelmed, and have no time to fight back. We had no choice but to accept being downgraded. And the worst part? After reading other reviews, I now realize this is not an isolated incident — it’s a recurring and deliberate practice. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is untrustworthy, disorganized, and disrespectful. They ruin your plans and pretend it’s normal. We were left disappointed, frustrated, and feeling scammed.

This hotel is excellent. Good breakfast. Great service. Lovely rooms. Amazing location. Pet friendly. Fabulous facilities. Looking forward to returning. Thank you for a great stay.
