B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo Reviews

Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor. Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. The location was excellent, and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but the view of the Duomo was absolutely amazing.

This hotel is located perfectly: just 5 minutes walk to Doumo and 8 minutes walk to the train station S.M.Novella. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a good recovery after thousands of steps around the city. Breakfast was rich enough and tasty. Staff was polite and helpful. I would rate this hotel 10/10 for it's price.

The location of the hotel was great near to the most important sightseeing areas. The breakfast was good. The room was really spacious and newly renowated. The staff was polite and helpful. Definitely will go there again

Nice hotel, best location possible in Firenze. Chill atmosphere in the lobby, friendly and professional staff at the desk. Spacious room with nice bathroom. Varied breakfast, nice roof terrace available. We would choose this hotel again.

We originally chose a location near the Duomo and 5 minutes from the station, we specifically chose this location because we had a difficult journey ahead of us, we were sent to another hotel of this chain, it was unpleasant, but they called us a taxi. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful.

The hotel is very clean and in a good location. I live on the top floor on the 7th floor. There is a balcony with a direct view of the Duomo. It's great.

The location is very convenient, close to the train station and the Duomo. The hotel is very good! I encountered a thief on the way from the train station, but fortunately nothing was lost. Please be careful if you walk!

The location is very convenient. All attractions in Fo Village are within walking distance. You can even walk to Piazza Michelangelo. When you are tired of shopping, you can always go back to the room to rest and put your things. Although the room facilities are a bit old, it is considered large in European hotels. The breakfast is average. I ate the same thing for 3 days.

The location is near the tourist attractions, and it is also very convenient to eat. The Chinese restaurant is not far away, just at the intersection downstairs. The city is not big. When I first checked in, it was a street-facing room. From 4 o'clock in the middle of the night, the sound of motorcycles kept coming. The next day, I moved to a quiet room and had a good sleep! Breakfast is on the sixth floor. Although it is not big, the dishes are very complete. There are also boiled eggs that are whole and shelled.
