I had high expectations and made reservations long in advance. Arriving in Fes at night, it was raining, a young man started giving me directions without asking me for a tip, and when I finally arrived, for some reason he asked me to have tea on the rooftop? I was guided to a restaurant. I endured the rain and was extremely cold, hoping to check in as soon as possible.
After a while, I was told that there were no rooms available and that I would be taken to a different location. I was disappointed as I was really tired and had been looking forward to Riyadh.
When I arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff kept saying things like ``Don't worry,'' and it was a strange atmosphere. I didn't feel sincerity. I no longer have good memories of the city of Fez.

I had royal couscous with beef at the restaurant. It was delicious and fresh. Adam's service was excellent. I felt very much at home. The setting is beautiful! Beautiful mosaics and woodwork!

I wonder where these positive reviews come from!??!?! The owner didn't let us stay the only night we booked. We found ourselves kicked out at 10:30 PM and having to search for a hotel in the middle of dark, deserted streets.

Great atmosphere, friendly hosts, and great traditional reasonably priced food. Would highly recommend. Mahmoud, hamza, amin and jad all great guys who know how to put on a good evening. If you are in fes and need food this is where you should go

3 night stay. The establishment offers a service to pick you up at the airport. Very convenient for accessing the Riad. The Riad is very beautiful and typical, colorful. The terrace is a real plus. We stayed in one of the rooms on the ground floor which reduces the tranquility of the stay (lots of noise, light, people passing by the restaurant and the downstairs dining room is where the family lives). The room is clean. We were very well received, especially by Jad who made us feel comfortable and speaks French and German very well. As soon as we arrived, we were treated to mint tea. Breakfast is good, served from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is possible to eat on site (tasty cuisine). The Riad is well located in the medina, away from the main streets. In the evening it can be stressful to access the Riad if we are alone.

Good traditional Moroccan cuisine—we tried the vegetable appetizer, kefta tagine, and couscous royal. The young and very friendly staff, especially Jad, who has a knack for languages, are excellent. The veranda is pleasant, and the prices are fair.

The chef, mother to our attentive, friendly, articulate, and skillful waiters, should be in the Michelin guide. The assorted salad dishes - eggplant, beets, carrots, two potato salads, cucumbers - were seasoned superbly. We ordered three entrees, each excellent. Steep stairs to the terrace rooftop are well worth the climb to glass walled, intimate, comfy dining room. Bravo!
