Highly recommended place to stay in Fenghuang Ancient City. The service is excellent and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Air-conditioning is cool and shower flow is good. Most importantly, the rooms are clean and odour free. Breakfast has more than 20 varieties, and the food is great. Special mention to Ms Tai for her excellent service and friendliness. The hotel is also located next to the Shuttle bus stop, which travels from the railway station. Convenient if you are using the railway. Will definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Fenghuang Ancient City.

The Hotel was located in a very good location, I was able to just walk a few blocks to reach the street market/town. The entrance of the hotel smelled nice and pleasant. We were welcomed by a robot and the staff were nice and polite and were offed a plate of fruit for each, when we requested more water it was sent immediately to our room. Offered a variety of food for breakfast and pastries. The rooms were nice, organized, and the view was good. Something we did not like was that our room smelled like smoke although it was a no smoking room.

Very big hotel with lots of amenities including a well equipped gym, laundry room, billiards, etc. While the room was quite clean, the hotel itself is quite old. I didn’t like the layout of the bathroom but the room was quite big. Staff was respectful. There is also a restaurant in the lobby for both breakfast and lunch. The location is very convenient since it’s right at the entrance (~6min walk from fenghuang ancient town) and right in front of the bus station where they drop you off from the high speed train and where you will take the bus to the station.

We are very happy to choose Xiangxi hotel to stay during our visit to Fenghuang. The hotel is easy to find and taxi dropped us in front of the lobby. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. They gave us welcome fruit and maps and offering support throughout the stays. Rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is good with various local meals. When we are about to leave the hotel, they arranged drop off to station for free and even gave us some local food to bring. What a pleasant surprise. We really enjoy beautiful Feng huang while staying there. Thank you all Xiangxi staffs for giving us wonderful experience.

This is the most hospitality service hotel in our 7 days trip in Hunan region . They upgrade room, give free breakfast, and very generous sending us to high speed train station. Upon leaving, they surprised us with special gift of 2 candy boxed. Very impressive.

Near main attractions. Passengers can take a special shuttle bus line to and from Fenghuang train station to Qifeng Square which is right in front of the hotel. The one-way shuttle bus line costs ¥7 as of June 2025. The room size is spacious and their staff is helpful. The main disadvantage is that the staff don’t communicate in English but they use translator apps to talk to you. Will stay again if I ever come back.

Hotel is clean and location is just around 7mins to the river. Hotel staff is very friendly and willing to go extra miles to send us to the train station. Will come back to this hotel again in future

The hotel advertising swimming pool wich is not open . Breakfast is horrible . Nobody speak English . Very arerage hotel for local tourists mostly .

The hotel is right at the shuttle bus stop from the train station and just a short walk to the center of the old town. So the location is great unless you’d like to stay inside the old town, which can be quite noisy at night. The service is good. The hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful. They also provide breakfast.

We are family of 3. We booked one room and hotel is very kind that upgraded to a room with 3 beds. Hotel is by the Qifeng square which is the final stop of Bus no 1 from fenghuang high speed train station. It is 5 to 7 min walk to old city (gu cheng) Hung Qiao. Breakfast spread is Chinese. Internet is slow in the room.

We reserve the pickup service from the high-speed train. verything was smooth. The location is good, only 10 minutes walk to the bustling river, avoid the crowd and noise. My son was sick, so I requested to extend the checkout time. Staff are very helpful on everything. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. Location. Services!

Very friendly and helpful reception especially the customer relations lady who advised on the sights etc and gave mementos upon checkout! Location is great, few minutes walk to the centre and sights. Room is spacious and clean. Definitely recommended.

I enjoyed my stayed at this exceptional hotel. Everything a 5 star hotel has, this hotel also have such as clean, friendly, lovely amenities, quietness, rich breakfast, lovely ambience, laundry service etc. But what set this hotel apart from even a 5 star hotel are the exceptions. The abilities to go beyond the services provided by a standard hotel. Without the ability to read and write Chinese, they patiently guided me how to get to the hotel from Furong ancient town, brought me to the bus station to get my onward bus ticket to Tongren, personalised laundry service etc. I could go on... All these for one night stay? Impossible for a 200+ rooms famous hotel!! Wish i can give 10 stars. Thank you General Manager Wu Hui. Thank you Deputy GM Long Shengyou and All the wonderful staff at this fabulous hotel. Please allow me to extend another 3 more nights at your lovely hotel.
