Group of 16, food was good for good value Timing of service was very poor, half of group were sent to collect carvery as other half were receiving pre-ordered food, this meant half of group had finished eating before first of carvery group returned to table to start. Not ideal when supposed to be eating as a family.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly! The restaurant next door was really nice! Room simple but exactly what you need! There is currently building work not far from the hotel but doesn’t disturb you! Will defiantly come back!

Would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to the area, especially if you have a car. Very good value. Excellent Sunday carvery. Staff were all lovely.

As a solo female traveller I was not impressed with the room I was given, it was a ground floor external facing room, with an adjoining door to the next room. When I checked the door the locked didn't seem secure and I subsequently didn't feel safe or secure all night. I won't be using this hotel again for business travel.

We stay at the Devon Hotel frequently, and have done in the past, we always feel like it is our second Home, the Management and Staff are so accommodating,respectful and friendly, we are staying again at Christmas, the food is exceptional, just a fabulous atmosphere,.

We had a fabulous tasty carvery at the hotel lunch time today. Aga our waitress was absolutely amazing, nothing was to much trouble and she even went out of her way to help us sort out a boxing day booking! Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

The Devon Hotel is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was self service and very good value for money with plenty of choice. We would use this hotel again when visiting Exeter.

Family wedding. Fabulous venue staff very helpful and friendly. Food great. Unfortunately we had a room that smelt very badly of damp. Room 105
