Holiday Inn Express EXETER - CITY CENTRE by IHG
"Breakfast was awful on second morning I did not bother and warm Aircon’s not working all the time"
University of Exeter - Holland Hall
"It was quite nice, there’s free breakfast every morning with a wide range of food choices. Facilities are quite new. The only problem was that there’s no elevator, which made it quite difficult for us to carry up the luggage. Would recommend"
Hotel du Vin Exeter
"Very welcoming and friendly staff. Stylish facilities and very comfy. Plus a 10 minutes walk into town makes it convenient for all facilities."
Holiday Inn Express EXETER EAST by IHG
"Good comfortable stay when visiting family. Food and service excellent for a budget hotel."
Lord Haldon Country Hotel,Sure Hotel Collection B
"Stayed fir for 3 nights, lovely clean room we had breakfast and evening meal which was lovely and presented well, staff could not do enough for us, friendly and polite , would love to stay again"
Premier Inn Exeter City Centre
"Nice and cosy to stay. And it is easy to get to town centre."
Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel
"The Mercure is centrally located 5 mins walk from the centre of the city and the Cathedral. Our room on the third floor was clean and serviceable although some of the furniture had seen better days. Car parking is available and costs £15 per day which is cheaper than the public car parking across the road. Families note, pool costs £10/adult. (Children free)"
Leonardo Hotel Exeter
"Room was great - large and contemporary. Easy car parking opposite. We were woken up by other noisy guests which wasn’t great."
Woodleigh Coach House
"Live locally. Stopped for coffee and toasted tea-cake. Toasted yes cakes £4.50 EACH and they were over done. Coffee had to be drunk immediately as it wasn’t particularly warm. Staff attitude poor! Like to support local businesses but they have to deserve it!"

Premier Inn Exeter (Countess Wear)
"Very nice pleasant experience I would come here again, gent on reception was polite and friendly.breakfast was also very well cooked and cooked to order"
St Andrews Hotel
"The service is not good, the staff is very impatient. The lobby and other public areas are closed at 11 o'clock, and friends are not allowed to use them even if they need to make a conference call, so the telephones in the corridor and the room will affect other guests. The heating is not turned on at night, and it is not turned on after complaints. The English breakfast set is OK. The restaurant also closes on time at 9:30."
The Globe
"Great stop-off to Cornwall, Topsham is a nice town just outside Exeter with good amenities. This pub is friendly, rooms are clean and well-appointed."
White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
"First room that they give it to me was not clean, heater was half cold and make big balloting noise, Then one night after I make complain they change me in another room, where bathroom was not clean and room was smelling bad. The manager from reception was not friendly talking, like I was obliged to accept the conditions. Then they don't explain wich room is with shower and wich have bath...anyway bad experience. I don't recomand, for this price you can find better options."
Queens Court Hotel
"This is a lovely little hotel, a proper old fashioned establishment with character. I stayed for 3 nights in a twin room on the top floor ( just be aware that the lift only goes to the second floor!) . Beds were clean and comfy, rooms quiet, nice en suite with shower. The breakfast buffet well stocked ( although perhaps the tiny cereal boxes could be replaced with tubs?) - I don't have cooked breakfasts so can't comment on those but there was a menu of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Places to eat within walking distance. Car park outside and permits for on street for longer stays ( £5 per day) and I got the bus from the end of the road)."
The Grange Court B&B Hotel
Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa
"Great value for a quick family overnighter."
South View Lodges
"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We spent time there whilst our house was being decorated and loved everything about it. Peaceful beyond your imagination, great local walks, the lodges are amazing, i believe all have good sized hot tubs, the lodges have everything you need and were spotlessly clean. The owners Jill & Andrew are very accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need. If we didn’t already live in Devon we would definitely come here every year for a nice peaceful break."
Travelodge Exeter M5
"Excellent half the price of competitors. Clean, great receptionist Sophie, well equipped room, choice of room, will certainly come again"
The Telstar
"Have been here a couple of time now and as always made to feel very welcome as part of one big family"
Exeter Rougemont hotel by Sunday
"The hotel is a lovely historical building and in a great location with friendly, welcoming staff. I found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable while at the same time being well-equipped with a fan, and iron and a hairdryer. While bottles of water are no longer provided, free water is offered at reception."
Mill on the Exe
"Lovely hotel by the river. walking distance to quay and town centre. Rooms were clean and tidy with coffee machine and payable snacks. These did take up a large part of the dressing table though so would have preferred these to be on an additional unit. Bed was comfortable with lovely pillows and duvet. We had paid for a river view which was lovely however one side of the double glazing had blown so could only see clearly out of one side. This needs to be sorted if paying for river view.. The breakfasts on both mornings were excellent. First morning we both had the full English which was good quality ingredients. Bacon and sausages very good quality. Second morning pancakes for me and salmon scrambled eggs for husband. Generous servings and cooked to order. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and attentive. Stayed in Room 6"
Southernhay House Hotel
"Fantastic from the second we came in the door to the time we left. We could not fault anything lovely experience The rooms, bar and dining area are gorgeous, with every detail perfectly thought out. They’re cosy, stylish, and just a great place to relax The service staff were all excellent, very attentive and polite, the food was delicious and the cocktails were yummy! Special thanks to Nick for taking such good care of us and advising us on our trip to Greece. We'll definitely be back!"
Courtyard Exeter Sandy Park
"The hotel is in a good location and the services were 👍🏾"
The Exeter Inn
"The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive."
