Leonardo Hotel Exeter ★★★★
"The hotel is in a good location for a city centre stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception excellent. Bar staff excellent, restaurant staff excellent. The room was very clean and well laid out. Tea and coffee making in the room. Bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned during our visit, bed made, cups replaced, etc. We were on the 5th floor and the lift was always available, although it was quiet. We ate at the hotel on the first night and the food was very tasty with quite a good selection, as well as a good selection of drinks at the bar. We were advised of a special offer if we joined the Leonardo Advantage Club of 15% off drinks and food, when paying off a tab which really helped. We booked a breakfast for the first morning. Breakfast is buffet style with all sorts of juices, coffee, cereals, yoghurts, etc. It was a very good selection for this size of hote. Breakfast was served between 7:00am and 11:00 am and our only criticism was that when we got to breakfast at 10:00am, some of the hot buffet items were warm going on cold. We were told that this was a problem with the hotplates but we felt that the hot food should have been checked more thoroughly. To the hotels credit, we were compensated for the breakfast problem. All in all we had a great 2 night stay and would stay at this hotel again."
Mill on the Exe ★★★★
"We had booked for one night - would have been great to stay longer. The room was really lovely - spacious with a view of the river. Food was good - we had lunch and dinner there - and we had a really good night's sleep in the extremely comfortable bed."
Exeter Court Hotel ★★★
"Our driver stays in hotels all over the UK while transporting vehicles for our business, and he says this is by far one of the best places he stays. The hotel is consistently very clean, the service from the staff is excellent, and everything is well organised and comfortable. A major advantage for us is the parking. It is very convenient for larger vehicles, and our driver is able to park a truck and trailer without difficulty, which is not always easy to find when travelling for work. Because of this, whenever we have jobs in the Exeter area, this is always the hotel he prefers to stay at. Highly recommended and we will definitely continue using it whenever we are in the area."
Premier Inn Exeter City Centre ★★★
"Every member of staff was fantastic. Good location for the Quay and city centre. Comfortable area to have a drink from a well stocked bar, including draft beers. As expected in all Premier Inns air co is noisy so has to be switched off at night and WiFi is abysmal. Come on guys it's 2026."
The Devon Hotel ★★★
"Checkin could have been better, had to fill all details on tablet but these details already provided on booking I presume. Good food service, nice steak. Convenient for our appointment next morning nearby. Would probably stay again if in the area."
Hotel Indigo EXETER by IHG ★★★★
"Very convenient location - very close to Exeter Cathedral and a 10-minute walk from the central station; Cozy room with some designs and renovated works ; Nice staff and breakfast ; some unexpected steps along the corridor but it seems that it can fit 6-floor rooms in 3 storeys; Acceptable price with the quality and service provided"
The Gissons Hotel ★★★
"Really nice people"
Hotel du Vin Exeter ★★★★
"Very small room .. but clean and nice team members."
Holiday Inn Express EXETER - CITY CENTRE by IHG ★★★

City Gate
"Lovely stay at the City Gate hotel; great location and room was lovely! Nice bar area and good food in the pub too."
Mr & MRS Smith Weeke Barton
"We really enjoyed Weeke Barton when our 13 family members stayed to celebrate a birthday. The house is well appointed with six very comfortable en-suite rooms. The kitchen is extremely well equipped as are the Bar, Sitting Room and Dining Room. There is also a dining suite on the terrace, a barbeque and fire pits for outside catering and other garden furniture for relaxing. The large grounds with tiered areas and a small stream offered the chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the company."
Queens Court Hotel
"Booked for the child, upgraded the room for free, the room was clean, the waiter was polite and enthusiastic, and the breakfast was good!"
Courtyard Exeter Sandy Park
"Brilliant hotel!! Fabulous service and staff were out if this world. Will return🥰"
Travelodge Exeter M5

Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel to stay at, perfect location. It’s quiet and surrounded by nature, and still easy to get to local attractions. The pool and spa are great and the staff are all really friendly and helpful"
The Exeter Inn
"The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive."
The Globe
"The location and friendly, helpful staff were excellent. The food quality was as good as the most expensive restaurants we have dined at. The price of the food was less than charged by many other restaurants. Well done The Globe,we will return."
Frog Palace
The Telstar
"Brilliant little place just to lay your head for the night"
The Exeter Inn
"We went to this Inn for a family of 22 birthday Sunday lunch, and they really looked after us. The food came out after about 15 minutes of us being there, but we were nice and settled at our table. The desert did however, not follow for another 60 minutes, but the place was very busy. The food and service were excellent, as was the warm welcome. Will deffo be back."
Bowbeer Barn
Spicery Barn Loft
Springwell Lodge
South View Lodges
"Second time staying at these beautiful lodges, first time in Kingfisher and now in Cedar. Exemplary hosts, beautiful surroundings and 5* lodges - not many places you can visit where you can honestly say everything has been thought about. This visit we booked one of their alpaca experiences and spent a lovely time feeding and meeting the herd. Highly recommend for a peaceful visit and great location for visiting Exeter and the surround area."
Townhouse Exeter
"Behind us is David's Church and a small area of tombstones. It was a bit scary to see them when we arrived at night, but I participated in church activities during the day, and understood the local culture. I also found the culture shock quite interesting. In the following days, I would walk through the cemetery to take a shortcut."
