Ramada Bayside Inn and Suites

The hotel was nice, with spacious rooms. The breakfast though was a but disappointing. There is a grab and go breakfast with little option.

Simple clean hotel. Location is good - can walk to downtown in 5-10 minutes. Rooms were clean, large tv. Pool seemed ok . Basic place but decent value. Cheery staff and the management seemed active to check the property often.

Incident in parking lot that required significant police presence and large amount of blood cleanup. Room was fine. Breakfast was mediocre. Not enough parking available for all guests one of the nights we stayed. Very unsafe location.

We tried to check in at the office, and was only given the option to use a virtual check in kiosk located in front of the office desk. After we were told the 2 rooms we needed were available, we asked to finish the process with a LIVE person. The front desk person, Lauren, finally showed up and told us we should finish with the virtual process, as it would be faster than her. After the second time she told us this, she rudely started laughing at us with another customer in the lobby! We have never been treated so poorly by a person who is supposed to treat customers with respect and hospitality! Please do not use this hotel if you are looking to be treated fairly or with any amount of respect or human interaction!

The room was comfy and clean, but sparse on soap and shampoo amenities. The coffee at Free breakfast was good, toast and bagels were okay, but the eggs and pancakes left something to be desired, tasteless and artificial. I was a bit dissapointed to find out that my room cost was almost double what I would have paid on another weekend 2 weeks ahead of this one.

We stayed with our family (young kids) as we stared our family vacation in the Redwood Forest. We checked in quite late after a long drive from Portland. The fans were all high and we smelt a lot of air freshener at night. During the night, a strange odor started appearing. In the morning, our room had a stronger strange odor like vomit as the air freshener seemed to be washed away. . We complained to the front desk in the morning and they said they would look into. After complaining the hotel would not provide any refund or discount. Poor management we feel. I would not recommend this hotel. Not your typical Ramada or Wyndham standard.
