On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly helpful receptionist who showed us our room. The food was delightful and served by very friendly professional staff. This hotel has relaxing atmosphere. Everything was bright clean and to a high decorated standard. We’ll be back. ☺️👍

Omg what a fantastic trip myself and my mother had. The guy on reception when we arrived was so nice when we arrived we were given a double instead of a twin. He changed our room to a fantastic twin room on the 2nd floor rm259 straight away. Our deal was bandb and evening meal. The food was amazing and staff were so friendly. I would definitely stay in this hotel again hopefully the start of Dec. Your grounds are beautiful and staff are a credit to your hotel.

First timer, we were in town for a convention and vacation. The check-in was grade B-. It could have been better, how? Asked if we have ever stay there and shared the room nuances, like room key needed for the lights to stay on, shower hot and cold dial, and complimentary water breakfast. The staff in the restaurants were superb. The chef was excellent. We worked out in the gym only 1 day, ouch. It is not for the hotel guests only this made it more busy and needs upgrading due to more use. Lastly, please replace the tea kettles in the room due to water build-up. Overall the grounds were safe and clean. We will stay again.

Had a one night stay and have come home really disappointed. The room was ok. There is a magazine left for guests to read - July edition. Ladies take hair conditioner as shower gel and shampoo are in the same bottle. The menu is very limited. My partner ordered a steak, and it came with chips, sauce plus half a tomato. Definitely over priced. Ordered a bottle of white wine, which arrived at room temperature. Didn't bring to the attention of the manager as you would not expect this to happen in a restaurant of this calibre. The bedroom was so uncomfortably warm. 2 no windows open, plus a fan, and we still could not sleep . Breakfast was OK, but we had to queue. Noticed tables not cleared. Maybe if tables were cleared when the guests left, there would be a quicker turnaround and no queuing. More attention to detail required.

We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges which was beautiful and very relaxing. Everything from washing tablets to teabags were provided. Swimming pool was great and not very busy. The only thing we were disappointed in was the meal we had in the restaurant on the first night. Food was a let down we had curry and beef for our mains but found it all quite bland. We had been looking forward to our meal but it was disappointing. Nobody checked on us to see if everything was ok or if we needed more drinks. We had to go to the bar to get a drink, service was very slow as there was only 1 barmaid serving and also making all the cocktails. Yet there were lots of staff standing about doing nothing. We nearly felt guilty bothering her. We had planned to go for breakfast the next morning but decided against it. We would definitely stay in the lodges again but we would not be returning to the hotel for food.

This was a very special birthday trip for my daughter. We stayed in the accessible woodland lodge which was great. Two large bedrooms with ensuites. The accessible bathroom had every rail you could ever need and fold down seat in the shower area. Other ensuite had a bath with shower over it. There were rails to assist access to hot tub. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing with a tremendous variety of goodies and nothing that we didn't love. The waitress was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The following day we both had treatments at the spa with Brooklyn who was just lovely. We had booked an evening meal which was superb and my daughters dessert arrived with Happy Birthday written on the plate in chocolate sauce, which delighted me that someone had noted this break was for my daughters birthday. The waiter and waitresses were all very attentive and pleasant, it was a perfect setting to celebrate.
