"Excellent stay – highly recommended! The hotel is in a prime location with plenty of parking spaces and most imporyant eco friendly hotel with cool water dispensar. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, and well-equipped with a fan, iron, and hairdryer. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. " We visited this lovely B&B from 18th to the 21st of August 2023. What a fantastic stay. So relaxing and easy. Catherine was the perfect host, nothing troubled her at all. Room was brilliant and the bed was so comfy, and what a view out on to the lake. The breakfast was superb. Location was really good for where we were planning to go during our stay. "A lovely location, the room was clean and comfortable with a great view. The food was good, but not 4 star and there are many obviously very young school leavers who couldn’t answer the most basic questions about the menu. It wasn’t much different in the spa, which had a strange atmosphere - almost like you were in someone’s house and keeping them all back from what they actually wanted to be doing. At times things felt disorganised but we got a good deal and you get what you pay for. If you are happy with a down to earth experience in a great location you won’t be disappointed!"

"The location of these cottages are great - right on the Lough side - can't fault it. And the staff were welcoming. However, on entering the cottage it smelt very musty & damp. Despite what looked like new curtains & seating in the lounge area, it's dated in other areas. The units in the kitchen were warped & the fridge had broken bits, and bizarrely it opened the wrong way, despite a dual opener. The double bedroom was small & smelt musty. And both bedrooms have a sink unit, which isn't required. The other bedroom we kept the door shut as really smelt musty. The heating & water is oil fired & it's quite noisy when it fires up. Turned the heating off as it was stifling hot. The bathroom has no shelves or cupboard near the basin for your toiletries, so had to use the windowsill. Overall, great location but needs a good update of facilities. "
