The room is very comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the tenants are very quiet. You can take a hot shower, the common room has a microwave, cooker, kettle, hair dryer in the room, the bathroom is very clean, everything is good. My stay was great, bed is comfortable and clean. The toilet and whole hostel is clean and new as well. Free coffee is available and location is excellent and near to the train station. However there wasn't any slippers for toilet use. Overall, the place is clean and pleasant.

The hotel is in good location , but next to restaurants so it was very noisy in the morning , when trucks unload foods .

Booking this accommodation without getting enough information，and it was not what I expected at all. At first look at the picture is a bnb type of room, the actual room likes a student dormitory with capsule beds. Totally not suitable for family travel, suitable for young people to rent or rest，it should be a youth hostel. The room was also poorly soundproofed and sounds could be heard clearly upstairs, down and in the hallway. The toilet is shared between two rooms, and about five or six people use one toilet. No towels were provided.
The only good thing about the accommodation is the location and the friendly staff and other tenants. I had a problem when I checked in and the staff were kind enough to help me out.

Estuvimos en el penthouse (2 personas y mi hija en habitación compartida), quedamos encantados con el lugar. Es prácticamente un departamento amplio. Cuenta con todo lo que puedas necesitar y muy conveniente a las áreas mas importantes a visitar. Sin lugar a dudas lo volvería a reservar. Shakira fue muy amable y atenta a lo que preguntamos.

1000% recommend!! As a young woman solo traveller I felt very safe here and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Facilities clean and modern and pod bunk is more spacious and private than your average hostel bunk bed. My only complaint would be noise as I could hear people from the floor above and the sound of guests tapping in the keycode for the room/locker access is quite loud but to be fair this is to be expected from any hostel and is also just dependent on how considerate your roomates are. They do give you free earplugs for the noise. If you're looking for a place to stay that is cheap but offers more privacy and security than your average hostel, I'd recommend staying in the pods at CoDE. Next time I come to Edinburgh I'll definitely be staying here again!!
