While the location is great (easily walkable from the train station) the service and the rooms are not! The personal at check-in was not unfriendly but they did not speak a single word unless it was absolutely necessary. They handed me a document with the usual guest information to fill in missing items (OK) but it contains a whole bunch of legalese amd additional terms which is void in Germany. When I asked about mit they claimed that I can either sign or leave without a refund. Ridiculous! The room was tiny, it had absolutely no resemblance to the rooms (of the same category) displayed on the website and booking portals. The floor was dirty, the table was dirty (sawdust!) and later at night we found more dirt on the bed below the decorative blanket. The wifi is borderline unusable and on top of that there is barely any cellphone reception in the room we got which meant that I actually had to go into the hallway to receive messages. The TV in them room was not much larger than my laptops screen and was not plugged into the power socket. Will definitely NOT be a guest there ever again. Luckily, Düren has many other hotel options available.

Price versus quality is good!

The room is very retro and the breakfast is pretty good. I hope to stay here again next time. The surrounding area is close to the bustling area and there are many delicious restaurants to try. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage

Beds and blankets are very small, at 185cm and 95kg it was a challenge, and the mattress was already very worn. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff were friendly throughout.

Good service but basic facilities.

Facilities: It is a very old hotel. The heater in the room I checked in on the first day was broken and it was cold all night. Because it was full, the room was changed the next day. The facilities inside were also very old. The front desk said they would need to be updated. Hygiene: There are visible hairs on the sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases. The hygiene is very poor. Friends with mysophobia should forget it. Service: The service is quite satisfactory. The staff in the breakfast room are very enthusiastic. The girl at the front desk is also nice. When the heater broke, an electric heater was brought... Environment: The only advantage is the location. It is right on the pedestrian street in the city center. It is very convenient to go anywhere.

Room very comfortable. Slept soundly. Had to wait an extremely long time for someone to return to reception so I could check in - there was no bell or anything. I was exhausted and just wanted to get to my room! But apart from that it was fine. I would come here again.

The only complaint was the ice on the driveway to the parking. The hotel room was clean and the bathroom was very good. The staff were all friendly. The best bit is the 11 euro breakfast which was wonderful. A great stopover hotel.

Salle de bain moderne. Grande chambre mais vieillotte et peu lumineuse . Peu d'oreiller. Malgré demande à l'accueil, on n'a jamais eu un supplémentaire. Très bon petit déjeuner anglais et varié. Parking à l'hôtel Proche centre ville et gare

Das Hotel Post in Düren liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bahnhofs! Leider laut- vor allem in der Nacht! Das Hotel hat einen enormen Renovierungsstau! Das Parkdeck ist viel zu eng verplant und nicht mehr zeitgemäß für die heutigen Autos! Die Zimmer okey- aber auch renovierungsbedürftig! Die Fenster säubern wäre dringend notwendig! Ebenso die Duschkabinen und vor allem Dichtungen! Leider gab es auch kein Getränkeangebot in der Lobby! Positiv- die Mitarbeiter an der Reception waren sehr bemüht! Das. Frühstücksbüffet dem günstigen Preis entsprechend? Das Personal zwar freundlich-bemüht aber unterbesetzt und überfordert! Da der Aufzug- defekt war, musste man sein Gepäck, sehr mühsam bis in den 4.Stock transportieren! Frische Bettwäsche wurde vor Zimmertüren gelagert! Wir wünschen den neuen Betreibern, viel Schwung, Elan und Mittel für eine dringende Sanierung, für diesen eigentlich historischen Hotelkomplex!
