We recommend! Fast and friendly check-in. Well equipped and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Plenty parking. Convenient location.will stay again if we are in the area.

Overnight stay prior to a flight from Edinburgh. Had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely. Room was clean & warm. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. Not a fan of the eggs in the hot containers.

The staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms were clean. Only annoying thing was the door alarms going off

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the reception area and restaurant were very attractive, however our room was below par and needed updating and mould removing from bathroom. The room faced the main road and we were disturbed by the heavy traffic noise that went on most of the night and made for a very unsettled night's sleep. Triple glazing is needed. Food in the restaurant was nice and the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful. Server recommended a white house Malbec which was very tasty. However where this hotel failed to impress was the breakfast. Served from 7-9am they had ran out of several food items by 8am, and large plates and cups. Most of the tables were uncleared. Coffee was only available from one filter coffee machine which was totally inadequate for a full dining room, there was only a choice of two cereals and no yoghurts left. Although there were alternative milks on offer, there were very limited vegetarian options, basically mushrooms and beans. I opted for toast and jam ( no marmalade and no choice of flavour) only to find the only spread choice was butter. Having stayed at several mid priced hotels in Scotland I always hope to see a nod to Scottish cuisine. Overall a bit disappointed and won't return.
