"Couldnt get proper sleep creeking roof, could hear guy sleeping above snoring and creecking noises when ever he moved. Manager needs to sleep in room 29 have someone sleep in the above room to experience this. Bad sound proofing even for a 2star hotel. Dont expect this from a 4star claiming hotel. Stained carpets as well, room needs redecoration its tired"

"I was parking at Halbeath to get to and from the airport and this place was the closest for me to rest after a late flight. I was travelling alone and as a ( very !) senior person I needed to check out the access before my trip. Gareth helped me a lot, both on the phone and in person, reassuring me about the trip. I arrived at 1.15 a.m. and was welcomed by the night staff then shown the way to my room which was large and very clean. The bed was so comfortable with fresh smelling linen and the staff greeted me warmly in the morning to ask about my night - I would be very happy to stay there again and recommend it to any travellers."

"The house and grounds are stunning, you are very close to local amenities however once you turn into the grounds you could be in the middle of nowhere as it brings a wave of comfort and peace. The house itself is exceptional, high end luxury and caters for large groups easily in its rooms. The bedrooms are well designed and the master suite is stunning. The owners are great and supportive of what my group needed. A special shout out for Colin who is super nice and always on hand to help. I have had the pleasure of staying in this house more than once and would highly recommend it."
