The Clarendon

LOCATION: 4/5: Quiet area, a short 6-8 min drive into the city centre. FACILITIES: 4/5: Very good quality Room-only hotel. Limited facilities as no breakfast/ reception/ bar; however it suited us perfectly as we were using the hotel as a base to attend a 2-day wedding in the area. There is parking on the street or at the back of hotel. SERVICE: 5/5: Excellent service from booking right through to departure. ROOMS: 5/5: Every comfort you could need. We were in a Junior suite on the ground floor. Our room was light, bright, spacious, clean, nicely furnished & decorated, with TV and plenty of storage. You can use Alexa to operate the lights/curtains etc! Bed was super comfy. The kitchenette was well equipped with kettle, crockery, cutlery, fridge etc. The bathroom had complimentary toiletries, modern fittings, and walk-in shower. Our view was across the car park to the rear of the hotel - not stunning, but quiet, which was fine. SUMMARY: Would recommend / stay here again.

Extremely clean and well equipped. We were a party of four adults and a baby and we throughly enjoyed our stay. There is parking on the street at the front and space around the back of the building. We had plenty of help on hand if we needed it too.

A top quality West End Hotel. I was really impressed with The Clarendon. Very easy to find, free parking all round, and the rooms are exceptionally clean and bright. Kenny is a very friendly, chatty host, who clearly takes a great deal of pride in his establishment. I'll definitely be back.

Very nice property loads of character Very welcoming

The owner, Kenny, helped us with our luggage and to settle into our VERY large, very comfortable room. The room had a kitchenette, with plates, utensils, pots, a kettle and coffee supplies! The room was easily controlled by Alexa and other electronic gadgets. I picked this hotel because of past reviews and ease of parking. It was within a few minutes drive of downtown Dundee, which is very busy and parking is almost non-existent. We loved our 2 day stay at the hotel and would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

stayed two nights and have to say a great holtel to stay in. Peaceful and quiet and WHAT A VIEW onto the Tay rail bridge. Loved the fact its amodern comfortable bedroom, were booked again for a couple of days in July. Comfy beds, Highly recommended
