Campanile Duisburg City Reviews

Went during a warm period, the air-conditioning was broken, i wasn't offered another room or even a fan. I was told to keep the window open, but it's summer in Europe so gets bright very early and was noisy outside. The hotel in other regards was acceptable but not anything more. My general interaction with the staff wasn't enjoyable, from check-in to complaining about the AC every interaction was strained.

New building

The hotel is located on the inner harbor and is fairly centrally located, within walking distance of the city center. The rooms have everything you need and are clean. Overall, however, the building doesn't give the most well-maintained impression, with numerous marks and scratches on the walls. Unfortunately, the attention to detail is lacking in some places – but nevertheless, the price is fair for the rooms, and anyone looking (just) for a clean place to shower and sleep will not be disappointed.

The cost performance ratio is quite high for business trips, and there are also places to eat nearby.

The room is not big, quite small. I arrived at around 12 o'clock and they said I could check in at 3 o'clock. OK, no problem. Then at 2 o'clock, I found that a new foreigner had already checked in. Do you think he did it on purpose or was he just being tinted?

There is a small river next to it, the scenery is pretty good, but the location is quite remote, there are not many facilities, it's pretty average, the place I stayed when I took the IELTS exam, the breakfast is okay, the price is high

The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is not far from the pedestrian street of Duisburg, just a few minutes away. The restaurant also takes a few minutes to walk. There is a pork knuckle restaurant called Web nearby, which takes seven or eight minutes to walk. The pork knuckle and beer are good. I stayed for another day and the price of the room booked by Ctrip was more expensive than the hotel on-site. I booked two rooms for 4 days two months in advance and found that the price was reduced. I didn't cancel the order for fear of trouble. The two rooms cost at least 1,500 yuan more for 4 nights.

A very convenient location; simple, convenient, just a few steps away from the city. I will stay here again in the future. Breakfast is not included in the accommodation, so I have not posted a review.
