The most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our entire trip in Ireland. Very spacious, bright, and modern. We had a room with an ocean view and truly enjoyed watching the tides come and go. Great breakfast, a nice pub, and a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. We loved everything :) The only minor downside was that it was a bit too warm in the room.

Hôtel calme, très bien situé avec une vue splendide sur la baie de Dublin et à proximité du port de Howth, facile d'accès depuis l'aéroport. Récemment racheté il subit actuellement des travaux. Notre chambre était superbe ainsi que la salle de bain. Par contre son accès était très compliqué: ascenseur que jusqu'au premier étage, puis de longs couloirs - dont certains en travaux! - pour contourner le bâtiment et enfin un escalier pour accéder au deuxième étage. Prenant l'avion tôt le lendemain nous n'avons pas pu juger du petit déjeuner inclus dans le tarif, mais on nous a fourni un breakfast bag contenant une bouteille d'eau, un yaourt, une pomme , une barre de céréales et un croissant encore surgelé et parfaitement immangeable! Cela ne nous a pas vraiment laissé une bonne impression.

After a slightly difficult start with a plumbing issue in our room in 2nd floor, the hotel were really helpful and went out of their way to make amends The Duty Manager immediately offered us concessions as well as moving us and all our luggage to a lovely spacious well appointed room on the first floor with some complimentary sweet treats to make up for the inconvenience. All staff were friendly and helpful and this hotel is trying really hard to upgrade and give good customer service so if something isn’t right, talk to them rather than complaining afterwards. It’s a great location with beautiful sea views at the back and lovely open and comfortable public areas.

Unfit rooms - we are tonight staying here. This room Is entirely sub standard. Firstly we have had to call reception as the lightbulb wasn’t working in the lamp (you’d think someone would check before letting the room) and now we Have had to go down to reception again (as the three times I have tried to call them Nobody has answered the phone). Now the toilet is not flushing at all. A member of staff has come up and tried to resolve it but it it not working properly and he has said there is nothing that can be done tonight although he admitted he was aware there was a problem with it earlier He cannot guarantee providing a resolution tonight and says there are no other available rooms to move us to!!!!!! Absolutely unacceptable !!!!! And highly unhygienic. Having stayed In numerous hotels this is the worst experience we have had and has completely refined what was a really nice stay of our holiday. Sadly we are also booked in here for tomorrow night.

I stayed here in June and had such a lovely experience. The weather was perfect, which made the incredible sea views even more special —honestly, the setting is hard to beat. The food throughout our stay was really good, with fresh, tasty options and great service to match. The staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay in Dublin but not in the city centre.

As a very regular guest of the marine hotel I have experienced very different visits through the years. I understand Gabor is still present, really nice as I noticed some very pleasant changes since he joined the group. I had a really nice stay this time in June it was lovely to see some new faces, much improved service all round and even nicer the familiar faces that always stood out both at reception and the gentelmen at breakfast. I am so sorry I can't remember their names. I did however take note of a new name because I must say he was exceptional! Halil is a complete asset to the hotel so professional, pleasant, helpful and polite. Absolutely terrific!. Looking forward to seeing you all again very soon. Kindest regards, Fiona Mc Andrew.

While the food was lovely, the service was absolutely disgraceful. I was served by a lady who I can only say has no manners. When I asked her what the special was, she shouted at me and said no special. I had to ask for a pint of Guinness 3 times. After my dessert came out, I asked if she had any custard and she said No and shouted at me. What hotel doesn't serve custard with a dessert which was advertised as Raspberry crumble but was actually Raspberry sponge. Marks on the dining room walls, Knifes dirty and staff getting thick at each other.

Following a very early Howth summit walk we dropped in for breakfast, breakfast team could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful despite a big noisy gang of us.
