Astra Hostel

Great location and super comfy beds. Free water and access to fridge and clean kitchen/dining area. However there are only 3 toilets and showers for the whole hostel. There are also no charging ports that work within the pods. Pods also got quite hot and stuffy. You can rent a locker for €20 which is fully refundable, and isn't huge but convenient.

The hostel has something good but the basic standard facilities don't reflect the price, no curtains on the windows and beds has no black out covers or curtains, hence, the day light was in my face since the very early morning, and I couldn't sleep! The surprise was the shower in my room had no warm water and I discovered that while I was under the shower unfortunately, I had to go 4 floors down in order to find a shower with warm water.

The location is perfect, it is a second floor without an elevator and the bathroom is one floor below the entrance, despite paying for two, they only give you a mini towel, in the bathroom there is no plug for the hairdryer, much less a hair dryer, if you want to reserve a locker you should know that the reception does not arrive until 10 a.m., the rooms have no security, any colleague can open your space even if you are inside, inside the space which is much smaller than it appears in the photos, the part to charge the mobile does not work (in the others neither) and in the room where there are 8 cubes there are only two plugs, the area that says you have snacks and water, there is not even bottled water ... all this and I am falling short ...

It is objctively the perfect hostel to stay even though they keep the prices more affordable than other expensive and unfriendly hostels and receptions in city center in Dublin. I do recommend the visitors to stay in this hostel.

It is a very relaxing place if you want to escape and relax for a bit 😊 clean and tidy very comfortable, different then any hostel

we stayed in a double bed room. the bed is big, and there’s a light, a mirror, and an air conditioner inside, so it’s very comfortable. the price. we stayed in dublin for just 53€. it’s a little bit far from the city center but there’s a bus stop and luas nearby. ダブルベットのカプセルルームのお部屋に泊まりました。ベッドは広く、ライトや鏡、エアコンも付いており、とても清潔で快適でした。向かいのベッドとのスペースが狭いので出入りする際は少し注意が必要です。他の階にももしかしたらあるのかもしれませんが、同じ階にシャワー付きトイレが男女別1つずつしか無く、朝利用した際には並んでいました。部屋は大丈夫でしたが、トイレの前の通路の臭いが少し気になりました。地下には小さな共用スペースがあり、ポットやカトラリー、無料のお菓子が少し置いてあります。ダブリンのシティーセンターからは少し遠いですが、歩きでも行けますし、バス停やluasが近いので、そちらを利用すると楽です。空港に行く前日や、一般的なホステルでは無く、少し変わったカプセルホテルを体験したい人におすすめです。ダブリンで2人で€53で泊まれるところは中々無いのでお得でした。
