❌ Repetitive breakfast – Mostly vegetarian and egg-based Indian food, with the same menu daily.
❌ Limited amenities – Toothpaste, sandals must be requested, and towels were not provided by the end of the day.
❌ Aging facilities – The hotel is old and may require renovation.
❌ Noise issues – Some sound from the bar can be heard in the rooms.

Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended for Families or Couples
I booked Regent Palace Hotel in Bur Dubai primarily because of its prime location—right opposite BurJuman Metro Station—and the fact that it’s listed as a 4-star property. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations at all.
Despite the convenient location, the overall environment was extremely uncomfortable and not suitable for families or couples. There were loud parties going on throughout the night, and the premises had an unusually high presence of massage parlours and unrelated late-night activities across many floors, making it feel more like a nightlife hub than a hotel.
While the staff were courteous and check-in was smooth, the atmosphere in the hotel completely overshadowed any positives. If you’re looking for a peaceful, safe, and family-friendly place to stay in Dubai—this is not the one.

The smell of cigaret or shisha smoke was all over the room, we had a hard night to get to sleep because of the noise from the bar at the ground floor

Perfect location nearby to metro, shopping and supermarket.
Need to change towels and toilets fixtures need to improve.

Location was perfect, right next to a transfer line and close to the airport. I didn’t expect much from this hotel as the price was relatively low, however I did expect the room to be clean. There were bunched hairs from who I’d assume to be the previous client. There were also black spots everywhere in the bathroom walls, coupled with a stale odour. I didn’t feel clean the entire time staying there. Despite this, the room was spacious. The reception’s attitude, although polite (I say this subjectively), was utterly useless. My replies were all “no sir”, one of my questions being “is there anything to eat around here”. A lady at the bell service was extremely helpful, probably sensing my distress as a traveller who’s just arrived - she directed me to go to the street just behind the hotel. I managed to thank her personally as I left. There was also a kind, Filipino lady who was really helpful with transportation. Thank you two for making my stay more pleasant!
Unfortunately due to the poor service and unclean environment I wasn’t too eager to explore the other facilities.

Worth the penny. Nearby metro station Burjuman and just an opposite side of Burjuman mall. There's a lot of nearby cafe and restaurant. The room is big and clean. Only con's is the pool at the rooftop, it is not operational.
