GGuest UserMy wife and I were beyond pleased with our stay at Lisiman Inn! Service: All the staff were incredibly patient and helpful, both during our stay and even before it began. Their responses to our enquiries were almost instant. Not only that, they also helped us get a driver (on our own expenses) for various attractions. We also appreciate the night time goodies which they prepare for us every night e.g. yak milk and fruits and delivered to our room. We would give the entire service crew a 100/10 for going the extra mile for their guests. Hotel: Stunning views, adorable animals, and an excellent room! The amenities are adequate and beyond expectation e g. Dyson hair dryer, marshall speaker and projector -- everything was well thought of for our stay. There is also a free 20 min professional photography service with traditional costume for guests and we get to select 3 photos for our keepsake. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish to return!

YYen Er Suzanne5 Stars – A Peaceful Getaway Surrounded by Nature I had an amazing two-night stay at this homestay at Shangri-La (decided to extend 1 more night)! The accommodation was super comfortable and clean, offering a peaceful escape from the city. Surrounded by lush nature, fresh mountain air, and lovely ranch animals like horses, pigs, and cows – it felt like a cozy countryside retreat. What made the stay even more special was the host's warm hospitality. He owns two adorable and friendly big dogs – a Samoyed and a Golden Retriever – as well as two super cute sheep that roam around the property. It really added to the charm and made me feel at home. The area is quiet and relaxing, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The owner was also very responsible and kind enough to provide return transport to the railway station, which was a huge help. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled stay with warm vibes and great company!

VVy Anh NguyenThis is by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to China. The hotel is equipped with all modern amenities, especially the toilet with an automatic bidet (something that’s not found anywhere else in China). The room was incredibly cozy with modern heating facilities, and the host even provided an oxygen machine (though I didn’t actually need to use it). I truly felt that it was worth every penny for the two nights I spent here. One of the highlights was the adorable and friendly Ragdoll cat that lives here! The hotel owner even allowed us to bring the cat into our room to play, and it was just so sweet and playful. Moreover, the host offered us a free pick-up and drop-off service at both the train station and the airport, even though it was 7 in the morning! I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. If you want to enjoy a fantastic stay in Shangrila, book this hotel now!

NnataneleMy room in Feifan is going to be the highlight of the stay. It is large, spacious for family of 4. The second floor is definitely the cutest part. We really enjoy our stay here. The host also helped us with all travel related needs like ordering taxi, sending us chaffeur to tour the Napahai, bringing us luggage, as well as picking us up at the train station. One thing to add, I felt like a proper training for the reception would really elevate the overall ”luxury” experience. The breakfast needs more depth, maybe ******* meal will make this more special. Kudos to the manager for sending us back to the train station. Notes for foreigner, try to get locals to phone the hotel number to inform them about your booking so they can have your wechat for convinience.

GGuest UserMy room was as described. Functional and nice and warm (with heating on) with an excellent hot shower and nice wooden wall beams. The people who run the place are lovely and also offer nice breakfast options in the morning. The only small note I have is that (despite best efforts and a very modern ventilation system in the bathroom) the bathroom is already moldy. I understand that it's a challenge to get under control given the climate. I would stay again next time, and actually spend more than just one night here. There is so much you can explore here!

RRonaNalaThe hotel is located 1 km from the ancient town and is a 10-15 minute drive to the train station. The room was comfortable, and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was very stable as well. (For foreigners, do bear in mind, if you connect to hotel wifi, you would need to connect to VPN in order to use WhatsApp, IG or Youtube) This is a 9-year-old property, so there are some flaws that can be improved, but that is understandable. My only feedback is about the F&B restaurant; they only have one all-day dining option. Breakfast was alright, with more of a local selection. I stayed for two nights. On the first day, there was staff available to help me and serve my cafe latte order. However, on the second day, I did not see any staff on standby, so I had to make my own cafe latte (I had to froth the milk), which I found awkward. I wish the staff were more well trained, but I understand it is low season and the hotel probably hired part-timers for service. The best highlight of my stay was meeting a lady named Rose He, who is part of the guest services team (i think). She made recommendations on where to go and even found us a local driver to take us around. She was extremely kind and polite. We exchanged WeChat information, and she texted me when the weather turned cold or rainy. She also helped us to arrange complimentary transportation to the train station. It felt personalized. Shangri-La, if you are reading this, I believe she deserves a token of appreciation. She is the true star and a great example of “hospitality.” Overall, we were happy with our stay. Thank you.

Lucky us managed to catch 日照金山 with just 1 night stay. The breakfast has set meal + buffet style, food is nice. There’s also cute dogs around.

Within the room, the amenities we're great including an electric heating blanket, a/c, and a Japanese style electric toilet.
