Hanoi Designer Hotels

We had a very enjoyable stay at La Sinfonia del Rey. The location was superb next to the Hoan Kiem lake right in the middle of the Old Quarter. All of the staff were extremely friendly and special mention to Rose who greeted us and remembered our names throughout our stay, and to give us recommendations on where to eat while we were in Hanoi. We also wanted to thank the manager who checked us in and had more food recommendations and for the lady who checked us out that gave our son a departing gift. Thank you for having us!

Impressive entrance with a short walk to anything you might want/need in Hanoi. Check-in was a breeze when we arrived mid-afternoon. The lobby on Level 1 and restaurant on level 2 are opulent and well-served with competent and English fluent staff. The room I had was well presented, very clean and well-serviced. Great pillows!! Small, but functional bathroom with a great two-way shower. Money can be exchanged at reception at around market rate. The breakfast on level 2 has something for everyone. Vietnamese, western and excellent pastries. Fresh fruit and a great noodle bar. The wait staff and chefs are expert and can create pretty much anything on request. The room service menu is spartan but reasonably priced and well presented and delivered hot. Pasta, pizza, burgers and (of course) Pho. For those not familiar with Vietnamese coffee, fasten your seatbelt before trying. This beverage will wake the deepest sleeper in seconds. Concierge services are effective and non-intrusive. There is a mini-supermarket about 100 metres from the front door where you can find that razor you forgot amongst other necessities. This hotel is brilliantly located near the lake, which is a great location for a stroll. Within a five minute walk you can find pretty much anything that you can think of. There is a roof top bar and pool on level 10 and, to be honest, this was a little disappointing. The pool works, but the surrounds are a little tired and could do with an upgrade. Not a showstopper by any means. The lifts work, the electricity is 100% available and the wifi is fast and consistent. The laundry service is fast and reasonably priced. If you want to outsource laundry, there are several services available close by for USD$1.50 per kilo. My team of 3 stayed here for 12 days and very much enjoyed the facilities and hospitality. I would stay here again any day of the week!!

Our group of 6 stayed 3 nights at peridot. We had some hiccups which was of no fault by the hotel..( like losing one luggage from our group from our cruise, and tour operator etc). The hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our problems. Special thanks to Plum, who was so nice and friendly and was so professional and efficient to resolve issues for us. Hotel has plenty of restaurants and street food everywhere and is very near the lake. Beautiful pool and sky bar too.Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the bellboys to the front desk staff. They even gifted my mom who has a bad knee a herbal compress from the spa. Small details and kind gestures made our stay here so special. 5 stars to the peridot team!

Jade Orental was our first stop in Hanoi after an 18 hour trip from the US. We were a group of 17 people. The General Manger Mr. Do and his staff welcomed us very well on arrival with a efficient check in process. The hotel is located in a great area (we were walking around after midnight and felt safe). Breakfast spread was excellent and food tasty with lots of variety, customer service was very good, rooms were well appointed and bed very comfortable. Felt at home and very welcomed. Would definitely go back there again. Thanks to everyone for making our stay there great.

The hotel is cute and central in Hanoi. Was able to walk to most places I wanted to see in the city. It’s in a quieter area compared to other places in the old Quarter. Right next to the St. Josephs Cathedral. The hotel had good facilities but hardly enjoyed them as I was a busy bee exploring Hanoi. Breakfast was also good with somewhat of a variety for this small hotel. The bathtub was absolutely amazing. They had delicious welcome snacks and fruits. The staff were also friendly and super helpful. Will definitely return when I visit Vietnam again.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days May/June and what a wonderful experience it was. The position was excellent. A short walk to the lake and its attractions. We also walked to the water puppet show which is a must see. The wonderful Quan at reception went above and beyond in making sure we were always safe and that our travel plans were executed. He installed the Grab (similar to Uber) app on our phones. He recommended the Hanoi 1900s cafe Train Street and this was one of the highlights of our trip. All the staff are to be commended on their friendliness and service. They were always available with a cool towel and a cold drink when we came back from an excursion. The hotel arranged a cruise on Halong Bay with Capella cruises 2 nights, 3 days this was also a magnificent experience. Everything this hotel arranged for us was seamless and stress free. We stayed in room 706 at the front of the hotel which had a balcony. The hotel is immaculately presented. We only ate in the hotel and the food is of high quality and the presentation is like fine dining. 10/10 to the chefs and all the team at La Siesta Hang Be you are all a credit to this hotel. We couldn’t recommend staying here highly enough.

Nice atmosphere, great location in the Old Quarters and super good service. All the staff is very nice and give a good service, Linh Nguyen gave his extra to make the stay perfect. An improvement point: This morning I woke up at 6am, since one from the staff knocked on the door next to ours and loudly said ”Room service”. It sounded like he was knocking our door... They could be a bit more quiet that early in the morning time. But I can really recommend a stay here.

We loved staying at this hotel. The staff were outstanding, very obliging and helpful. The king size bed and pillows very comfortable. Great shower and the air conditioning worked wonderfully well. Well situated in the old quarter and so easy to walk to the lake, restaurants, coffee shops and Beer Street. Great rooftop bar and the Red Bean restaurant on thr ground floor very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed here overall 8 nights in total.

The doorman's service attitude was very good and enthusiastic. He helped us carry our luggage as soon as we got off the bus. The room is a bit small, but it's adequate. The location is very good, the internet celebrity train can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. The only thing I don't like is that the window is an inner window, so I can't see the scenery outside the window... and the room's sound insulation is poor.

Score 11/10! Very good experience that over my expectation! The most impressive part of the whole stay would be the sincere service from the front desk! From the very beginning their service would surprised you~ the Doorman welcomes you with a very good smile and help you deal with luggages. Welcome drinks serve while waiting for the check-in. After that a very handsome front-desk officer--Yu, help us introduce nearly every attraction of Ha Noi and famous restaurants as well. Sincerely thanks to Yu's kindness and assistance(also free room upgrade~). Also the infrastructure of the hotel is satisflying, from the roof bar, you can see the sword lake and also the most central view of old quarter. Breakfast with nearly 5-star standards. Highly recommend for tourists visiting old quarter!
