sarahsays____Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else in Hanoi—just book Classyc!
My husband and I travel quite frequently, and we can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, every detail felt thoughtful, warm, and genuinely exceptional.
We initially booked the Grand Suite for 3 days and 2 nights before heading off on a Ha Long Bay cruise, then returned to Classyc for the remainder of our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels, welcome drinks, and snacks—such a refreshing and thoughtful touch after traveling.
The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond. Arthur personally escorted us to our room and even checked in with us later that evening via message to ensure everything was perfect. We were also welcomed with chocolates in the room, which made the experience feel even more personal.
It’s the little touches that truly set this hotel apart. We received complimentary wine vouchers, spa discounts, and consistently warm, attentive service at every interaction. When we returned from Ha Long Bay, it genuinely felt like we were coming home. Walking into our new room to find a heart-shaped chocolate mousse cake and a handwritten welcome-back note from the team was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise
There was also a moment that really reflected the hotel’s integrity and commitment to guest satisfaction. We had booked a signature spa package, not realizing it wasn’t included in the 20% discount promotion. While we didn’t raise any concerns, the staff proactively followed up the next day at breakfast, apologized for the confusion, and extended the discount to us anyway. We were genuinely touched by this gesture—it spoke volumes about how much they care about their guests’ experience.
On our final day, we had some time to spare before our flight. After exploring the city, we returned to the hotel and the staff kindly offered us access to the spa facilities so we could freshen up before heading to the airport—an incredibly thoughtful and appreciated gesture. They also arranged a luxury transfer for us, complete with comfortable seats and even a massage function, which made the journey that much more enjoyable!
As we were leaving, one of the staff members surprised us with a beautiful ceramic wind chime symbolizing positive energy and good luck. It was such a meaningful and heartfelt farewell, and a perfect end to an already unforgettable stay.
A few additional highlights worth mentioning:
- A great breakfast spread with plenty of variety
- A lovely rooftop pool area to unwind
- Reno Bar downstairs, which became one of our favorite spots in Hanoi—fantastic cocktails, delicious bar snacks, a cool retro vibe, and great music. During our visit with some friends they even surprised us with a complimentary tray of shots!
Classyc is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience defined by genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and heartfelt service. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Hanoi, just so we can stay here again!

GintsukiI’ve been to Hanoi a few times and hotel service here is generally good, but Solaria truly stood out for us from the moment we stepped in, all the way to when we left and were warmly sent off by the porter. The level of service was impeccable. The hotel itself was excellent, cleanliness, welcome drinks, snacks, and overall comfort were all on point. Everything felt thoughtful and well taken care of.
A special shoutout to two wonderful staff members who made our stay even more memorable:
1. Daria: During breakfast, we asked about the special chili salt powder served with fruits (it was amazingly tasty!). Daria not only explained where we could get it from a local mart, but also thoughtfully packed some in a container for us to bring home. Funny enough, we loved it so much that we bought fresh mango that same night and finished everything immediately!
2. Lily (Reception): We would like to give our heartfelt compliments to her, who assisted us from our first day to the last. She brought us on a room tour, polite, friendly, and answered all our typical tourist questions with ease.
As we had requested a high floor, we were assigned one of the highest floors in the hotel. Lily thoughtfully informed us that the restaurant is located right above and operates until 10pm, so there might be slight noise until then. She checked if we were light sleepers and offered us the option to change to a lower floor for the remaining nights if it became an issue. The next morning at breakfast, she personally checked in with us again regarding the room, and it turned out to be perfectly fine for us, we didn’t notice much noise as we were still awake around that time.
Since this was our anniversary trip (which I had indicated in the hotel remarks), our room was beautifully decorated with towel-shaped swans and rose petals, a really lovely touch. The next morning at breakfast, after our meal, Lily came by and presented us with a specially made coconut pandan pudding dessert. She shared that it was prepared for us today as we seemed a little tired from traveling the day before.
During breakfast as well, Lily brought up about our request with housekeeping team for a firm pillow from the night before. Although we were initially told only one type was available, she took the initiative to explain and said she would try to source one for us. That very night, I received a firm pillow, truly thoughtful service. Lily also helped us plan our travel time to the airport, offered to assist with booking the hotel spa via her personal contact, and gave fantastic local food recommendations like cháo sườn with quẩy and rượu (sadly the shop was closed when we arrived, but it’s definitely on my list for my next trip to Hanoi).
What really stood out is how Lily picks up on small cues and chooses the right moment to communicate, making everything feel very natural and personalized rather than forced. There was even more she helped us with along the way, always attentive and proactive, which really made a difference to our stay.
To top it all off, during checkout, we were gifted local souvenirs, Trung Nguyen coffee drip filter and coffee powder, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Overall, an outstanding stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return on our next trip to Hanoi 🩷

Guest UserWe had an impeccable experience at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. The value for money is excellent; you truly feel like you're staying in a palace while enjoying reasonable prices. Even the most basic rooms are spacious, elegant, and equipped with high-quality amenities, especially very comfortable bedding and linens.
The common areas are magnificent and perfectly maintained. Whether it's the pool, the spa, breakfast, or the various restaurants, all the services offered are top-notch. The food and drinks are also excellent, both at breakfast and in the hotel's different establishments.
We were particularly and pleasantly surprised by the staff's attitude. Every team member demonstrates great hospitality, a genuine sense of service, and a lot of kindness. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure the stay runs perfectly. Between the small touches, kind words, and warm conversations, each guest truly feels unique.
The hotel is slightly away from the center, but it's still very easy to reach the city center and the historic district. I highly recommend this establishment!

Stayed at Splendid Premium Hotel in Hanoi. Very good location - right in the center, near Hoan Kiem Lake, with many restaurants, cafes, and massage places around. Also close to the sightseeing bus stop and the water puppet theatre.
Rooms depend on the category. Basic rooms may have a window facing an internal corridor, so no natural light or fresh air. Better to choose a room with a proper window if possible.
The room had all essentials - kettle, tea, toiletries, clean towels, and comfortable beds. Shower drainage could be improved. Safe was provided upon request.
Staff were very friendly and attentive - welcome tea, small snacks, and help with luggage.
There is a rooftop pool (covered) and a lounge area. Overall, a good option for a short stay with strong location and good value for money.

Zizi ZThis hotel is tucked away in an alley near Hoan Kiem Lake. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a lovely fragrance. Its location, a bit removed from the busiest areas, ensures a great night's sleep. With a spa and a sky bar, it offers a really comprehensive experience. The breakfast is fresh and has a wide variety of options. But the best part, hands down, is how incredibly nice the staff are. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Ehime OmokhodionI had an amazing stay at Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake and it was truly one of the most unique hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
From the moment I arrived, the service felt luxurious and welcoming. The complimentary macarons on arrival were a lovely touch and immediately set the tone for the stay. The hotel’s attention to detail and presentation really stood out throughout the entire experience.
The room itself was incredibly spacious, modern, and comfortable, with stunning views across Hanoi. Large windows filled the room with natural light, and the overall atmosphere felt elegant and relaxing.
Of course, the biggest highlight was the hotel’s signature gold-themed interior. The golden bath and even the gold toilet made the stay feel both extravagant and memorable , definitely something you don’t experience every day. Everything was beautifully designed and added to the hotel’s unique character.
Another standout feature was the famous gold infinity pool. Swimming there while overlooking the city skyline was unforgettable. The rooftop atmosphere was calm and luxurious, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the views.
Overall, Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake offers a truly distinctive luxury experience with spacious rooms, exceptional views, unique golden décor, and excellent hospitality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi and looking for something memorable and different.

My middle name is FrancesI have stayed in several apartments in Vietnam, some of which were a literal horror show, so I was relieved to find this place in such clean, well-maintained condition. Everything, from the furniture to the white goods is in great shape and well equipped, with a washer/dryer, fridge, and microwave. It is excellent value for money and perfectly situated in a prime Tay Ho location, with several restaurants and cafes literally on your doorstep. The view from my room is lovely, and the daily housekeeping is excellent; I really appreciate the free drinking water and the lovely selection of teas provided. Also, complimentary toiletries and slippers are lovely touches that make your stay more comfortable. The 24-hour gym is a decent facility, the A/C works great and the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Despite there being only one lift, it is never congested and mostly empty when I use it. Overall, the reception staff are prompt and helpful, and the building is a quiet and peaceful place to be, which is why I have already extended my stay at the regular rate.
However, there are a few niggles: the washer/dryer cycle is quite long, so I recommend running it in the evenings. Please note you’ll need to provide your own laundry detergent, which is very affordable. There are no privacy curtains for the large sliding door windows, which can feel exposed. The building is at the bottom of a sloping road, which might be challenging for those with mobility issues, though Grab drivers can locate it easily. Regarding housekeeping, they knock on guests' doors daily in the morning to find out if you require their service, which I find intrusive. A better system would be for guests to notify reception, who can then communicate it to the housekeeping team. During the day, there are sometimes loads of staff members hanging around the reception area, including in the gym on their phones; I once decided not to use the gym because of this, though it was fine when I went back the next morning as there was only one staff member present. Upon check-in, I was offered a free upgrade on the condition that I left a 5-star review on Tripadvisor immediately! Really off-putting is an understatement! I bypassed this by saying it would sense to do so after at least staying the first night. It wasn't the best initial impression, but despite this, I am very happy with my accommodation as it fulfils most of my requirements as a solo traveller. It’s a place I would recommend and stay again.
