Rome Designer Hotels

The location of the hotel is very good, in the center of Rome. It is very convenient to walk to the attractions in Rome. It is next to the largest shopping mall in Rome. It's safe all around. The hotel service is very attentive, proactive and quite satisfactory. The room is not too big, but it is sufficient. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The bathroom is large and the water is flush. The hotel is designed in a modern style, especially the lighting, which is all point-type. The room is black in color and relatively dark. Young people may prefer it, but I am not used to it at my age. The air conditioner in the room is loud. The hotel restaurant has a very good environment, the breakfast is particularly good, and the desserts are great.

Major Tourist trap. Coffee and cappuccinos were horrible. Can’t understand why they serve such a crappy cup of coffee at such an expensive hotel. Capuccinos were watered down and worst we had in all of Italy. Room was so so and lacked adequet plug areas, had to unplug the lamps on both sides of the bed just to plug in iPhones/chargers etc. 1 sitting chair, nowhere to really place anything on so we used and iron the entire time as a catch all. A tiny glass table crowed in the corner with stuff we didn’t need. Lighting was not good at all in the stuffy small bathroom. Absolutely zero counter space to put anything on. Water leaks out of shower all over the floor due to the poor design of the tiny shower door that shuts against another even smaller door on hinges that doesn’t close properly. A/C does not stay on based on temp. There must be some sort of auto off timer you can’t see so I was up a couple of times per night to turn it back on. Pillows are hard as a rock including the sub par bed, tossed and turned the entire time we were there. We will never come back here again.

A quaint, quiet, quintessential Roman retreat:) I would most definitely stay here again and recommend others to do the same! Unique in so many ways (I’ll let you discover just how many for yourself). Just know that this hotel and the immediate environs of Trasvestere will be a unique experience and you will be well looked after by the lovely staff. Bravo Maria Elena and Giuseppe for your warm welcome and fabulous hospitality. My dog, Ellie, and I enjoyed the amenities and the neighbourhood as much as we enjoyed your company! Grazie mille!

The hotel is so clean, not as some reviews I read before about it. The man in the receptionist whom I guest as the manager is so nice. He is always friendly and supportive. The location is perfect, near the train station and it took me not long to go to all tourists spots. I am a female solo traveler and I feel safe to stay here. I will choose here if I have chance to come back.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a week in this hotel .. what to say? MARVELOUS. The hotel's location is perfect as it allows you to move quickly and easily to visit the most beautiful places in the city such as the Colosseum! As soon as you arrive, I immediately notice the kindness and friendliness of Mr. ANTONIO at the reception who welcomed us warmly. We check-in and immediately go up to the room. The hotel looks great, the cleanliness immediately catches the eye. The room is equipped with all comforts, spacious and very refined, the TV is equipped with a system that allows you to book tours from the comfort of your bed, updating the weather, news, menus and history ... in my opinion it is something that I really appreciated. All flawless! Since Rome is a very tired city, we also allowed ourselves the spa, what can I say .. Unique! From the hot tub, to the sauna and emotional showers. Also on the roof there is a terrace to have breakfast and enjoy a beautiful view! We will definitely be back!

This hotel was perfect for sightseeing in Rome! Booked for my partner’s birthday and the hotel staff made this extra special by providing a room with a balcony with a view of the Victor Emmanuel II Monument. Bed was huge and very comfortable, air-con worked great and the staff were extremely helpful - particularly on our last day storing our luggage when we checked out in the morning and organising taxi’s to Ciampino in the evening. If you are prepared to walk everywhere this hotel is a great option, within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions with the furthest about 40mins to Vatican City and Trastevere. It was not an issue for us but as stated in other reviews the open-plan design and lack of privacy between the bedroom and shower/sink area may be uncomfortable for some visitors. Overall a great hotel which I’d highly recommend!!

Stayed September 2023 for 3 days with family of 4 Room: Junior Suite. I give all my credit to professional prompt personnel. Had to rebook our stay for to getting Covid-19 for. Muhammad at front desk was the best help: calm, professional and very prompt. I am very thankful for all his help out stay was great thanks to him! Absolutely gorgeous hotel bathroom especially. Room is elegantly decorated same way the entire hotel is. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks and helped with bags. Breakfast was great as well. I did miss my usual smoked salmon though. Madeleine was very friendly and welcoming, taking care of all our needs during breakfast. My daughter doesn’t want scrambled eggs so we asked for freshly made 2 sunny side up eggs and wish was immediately granted! I asked for a plastic cup to take my coffee to go, and Priscilla said “I will make a fresh one for you right away!”. It was very nice of her. Best part: due to working until 3am on computer, O told my family I will be skipping breakfast and sleeping in. How surprised I was when upon my husband and daughter arrival back to the room: the door opened and Priscilla walked in with a tray full of all breakfast items! Hotel does cost quite a bit, but the personnel professional approach is worth it 100%. The only minor issue we had was shower door that wasn’t fully closing that’s why we kept putting towels on the floor. However, everyday housekeeping did excellent job cleaning! Location is center- walk literally to anything important. As a finishing point of our Italian trip we had a romantic evening with drinks (and delicious free snacks to go with it) on the rooftop terrace. Again staff and drinks quality was amazing. We stayed here for 10 nights on business and the hotel was lovely apart from the food and beverage options which were dire. I was in a twin room and there was a good amount of space, it was quiet and had all the plugs and amenities you would wish for. The hotel is a little way out of Rome centre so you should factor in prices for taxis each way - there really is nothing around the hotel without a 20 min walk with a significant hill and minimal pavements! The pool area was beautiful - and the spa was pretty good - I had a massage which was quite nice. The big issue, especially with the lack of restaurants around the hotel is the absolutely awful food and beverage service. The bar only does ‘toasties’ which are very expensive and not worth the money. We could not get into the restaurant as it was always ‘booked’ despite a lot of empty tables. When we did look at the menu it was very limited. This is the one thing that would put me off returning - if they improvised this part then the hotel would be a great place to stay.

This is the most luxurious hotel on this trip. When we booked a 3-person room, we should have directly opened the connecting door of the two adjacent double rooms and turned them into suites for us. The area of ​​a standard room is not large. The hotel provides welcome champagne, handwritten welcome cards, and ACQUA DI PARMA for bath products. The bed is relatively comfortable, the bath towels are thick and soft, and the mini bar has a rich variety. Two free bottles of mineral water and sparkling water are provided daily. Opposite the hotel is a military-related government department, so there are soldiers on hand throughout the day, which makes me feel instantly safe. Of course, the curtains may not be fully open during the day, because it is too close to the office building opposite. The location is very good. It is only ten minutes' walk from Castel Angel and Vatican City. It is very comfortable to run along the river in the morning. The only thing that is not ideal is that there are too few types of breakfast, each person has a fixed set, and there are a small amount of self-service fruits, yogurt and drinks.

The biggest feature is that the drink tube is enough. I did not finish the drink for the three nights alone. Of course, I liked the juice. I drank both bottles. The potato chips were also eaten. Drinks, dining environment is also very good, there is a handsome waiter, everyone can feel it.
