This was a great base for us in Delhi for 3 nights. Hauz Khas was a good area to acclimatise as Delhi was our first stop in India. Sagar and family were very accommodating, we arrived very early in the morning and Sagar met us and kindly showed us to our room. We had a delicious breakfast one morning also and were given lots of tips for the local area and wider Delhi. The room was clean and very well equipped.

Room was very comfortable, large and well appointed. Hosts were extremely genial and helpful. Helped me construct an itinerary. Easy to reach when needed. Location : awesome. Close to shops, metro etc. Would definitely reccomend/ stay there again!

Wir verbrachten fünf Wochen in Indien und waren in dieser Zeit zweimal im Homestay Prakash Kutir. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind tiptop sauber und haben bequeme Betten. Die ganze Familie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir erhielten gute Ratschläge für unser Sightseeing. Die Metrostation Hauz Khas liegt in der Nähe und mit der gelben Linie erreicht *** viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch Tuktuks findet *** problemlos an der Strasse neben dem Haus. Am Besten informiert *** sich zuvor im Homestay, wieviel die einzelnen Strecken kosten dürfen. Wir werden auch bei der nächsten Indienreise hier übernachten. We had a wonderful stay at Prakash Kitri B&B. Clean lovely rooms, great breakfast. Sagar helped me book a tour with a driver to the Taj Mahal which was fantastic! Sagar and family are very hospitable and would definitely recommend staying here. Great location and felt very homely. 😊

Prakash Kutir is a lovely property in the hopping Haus Khaz area, close to the Deer Park and Haus Khaz Village with galleries, eateries, live music. The hosts are super gracious, absolutely driven to do the right things for the guests. They provide many value added services for the guests - help arrange transport, tour services, ideas on nearby areas and fully stand by their recommendations. The breakfast is incredible, cannot miss. Close to metro and easy access to all parts of Delhi. I would recommend whole heartedly. I came as a stranger and left as part of the family. God bless!!!

Stayed 2 months on a business trip. Wonderful B&B in south Delhi run by a gem of a family. The Gupta family goes out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable. The staff is very attentive. Mrs Gupta is a marvelous cook. and Sagar is just a great guy who was always there to help with any questions we had about getting around Delhi. We had a an excellent experience and would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Delhi.

… a wonderful place to stay and return to after full days of being out, exploring Dehli. Breakfast was a treat if local fare and a warm family feel, enjoying conversations with host and other guests alike! It was rightly positioned bit for transportation options and walking to nearby shopping and dining!

Superbe maison d'hôtes (homestay) à Hauz Khas, quartier résidentiel central, très pratique, plein de cafés et restaurants autour, à 2 pas du métro, à 20 min de l'aéroport international. Belles chambres avec salle de bains d'une propreté impeccable. Frigo, bouilloire, micro-ondes disponible à chaque étage. Lieu très sûr surtout pour des femmes seules. On est accueilli par une famille chaleureuse, à l'écoute et pas du tout envahissante. Petit déjeuner copieux, très varié et qu'on n'aura jamais dans un hôtel ! On peut même dîner sur place (végétarien) avec un petit supplément. Sagar, le charmant fils du propriétaire, propose des tours guidés dans Old Delhi, à ne pas manquer car sa famille y habitait. Une vraie immersion dans la culture indienne, à ne pas manquer sous aucun prétexte !
