"We were greeted with a friendly smile and pleasant demeanour. Our cards were given extremely quickly and we were in our spacious room. The service at breakfast was excellent and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. A lovely stay."

"A lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares? There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat. The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names. The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk. Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in. Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update. Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend."

"The price is very high, the transportation is convenient, there is a large supermarket Lidl opposite, and life is very convenient. There are buses on the side of the road, and it is very convenient to go to the city center. But after staying, the sound insulation is not particularly ideal. Easily woken up."

"Just needed to put my head down for the night. Reception was friendly..I arrived late at 2340..friendly night guy..room was adequate for my needs..Room 9 cold tap handle was missing, but a shsve was possible and teeth with warm water..mattress protector needs a boil wash and new carpet would freshen things. Shower was luke warm but manageable..heating was fine..tv ok..1 night fine;)"

"Well the hotel is alright, staff are very friendly, location is very good. Spa didn’t seem nice so we wouldn’t go. Our standard room was very small, though cozy. AC wasn’t working, luckily got a heater from the reception. Breakfast was tasty, but raw vegetables were absent (except for slightly cooked tomatoes). It was noisy in the hotel, many people, but everyone was there for the New Year eve. Parking is paid and costs 12 pounds a day - madness!"
